That is probably the best episode of this season. This whole season was really missing Jim screwing with Dwight. And the whole Kevin storyline kicked ass, too.

Yeah, those were posted before the final clip with Angela and Dwight. However, I still didn't like Michael's choice. I guess this was their version of cliffhanger for next season. Nothing really dramatic (with the exception of Angela and Dwight), but just a lot of uncomfortable non-resolution of plot.

and Michaels decision was pretty dramatic
Holly liking Michael and going out with Kevin (just b/c she thinks he is slow)
Jim not proposing to Pam
the set up for Jim taking over Ryan's job

i thought all of that was "dramatic"

fucking great episode.

yea that's gonna work out perfect with both of them in NY...so they leave Scranton and start the new spinoff series?

who'd be the good actor/fit to replace Jim. Dwight needs a counterpart...or at least a promotion

only way I can't see Jim getting the job is if corporate hears the voicemails Jim left Ryan...I can't see Jim and Pam breaking up....only procrastinating the proposal til the start/end of the next season

So I see this : Kevin and Holly end up having a great laugh when she in one way or another finds out he isn't slow while eating pie. They actually hit it off, and then we get this great conflict all next season between Kevin, Holly, and Michael.

I don't make predictions very much, but this seems like something that they would do, and could be funny and increase kevin's role a bit.

ahahahahaha

When I saw Dwight's back there at the end I laughed so hard coca-cola came out my nose, and it burns like hell, but that's OK, it was worth it.

In retrospect, my favorite Toby moment was during the Christmas episode when Michael told Dwight to take back Toby's gift basket.

Dwight grabs it and Toby just asks a very resigned "Why?"

greeeat episode last night. I really hope jim and pam don't do their spinoff next season. they were the sane part of "The Office" and losing them would hurt it i think....atleast in my POV. Oh well though

Yeah...when is Pam's school thing? Saying it was 3 months (iirc) made me think it's a summer thing, and she'll be back for the start of next season.

I'm gonna miss Toby. He seriously has had some of the better scenes in the show. I really hope he comes back at some point next season, has anyone heard if hes officially moved on? Other then Jim tormenting Dwight, Michael tormenting Toby was the next best thing. I love in the episode where Jan is suing the company and Michael eats lunch with Toby, then after like 30 seconds pushes his tray off the table. Hahahahha I love Toby.

I think he is still writing so I'd assume he will show up somehow in the future. Not sure how likely the film crew would be to go to whatever tropic place he is going to.

I'm sure that Toby will end up failing at whatever he's trying to do in Costa Rica and end up back in some capacity. It was a pretty spur of the moment thing.

at first I thought the episode was getting off to a slow start and saw the show going downhill pretty quickly . . . the last 15 minutes changed that quite a bit.

I was also wondering about BJ Novak . . . he always seemed like one of the better writers on the show, so I hope his getting arrested doesn't mean he's gone.

Although I suppose they could do a spin-off about white collar prison

he could always be gone as a character and just be a full-time writer. toby was one of the writers too, and i imagine he'll probably still be writing.

if not, the losses of the writers will outweigh the losses of the characters they played.

They are some of the best writers, they won't write themselves out.

I feel next season will have some good episodes dealing with both of them although maybe not in a main character short of way.

are you guys serious?

Just because their characters left the show doesn't mean the writers are leaving...

(and I'm sure we'll see more of them both later anyways. Michael testifying at Ryan's trial, anyone?)

also:
"okay."
"Into the mike, babe."
"I SAID OKAY."
"SHE SAID YES!"

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to get married and have 100 kids so they can't say no to being my friend.
