I agree about Heisman, and didnt want to go up to that... but the AA sliders need to be tweaked some obviously, and I say do it now or even restart the league. These scores are so retarded that its no longer even remotely based on reality...

I don't think anyone wants to restart...We haven't played many user vs user games yet, when the scores will start to level out....We just need to make sure to schedule more difficult games for non conference in the future...the bad teams are really bad.

^I don't know about restarting (I'm worried a lot of people would lose motivation). I'd be OK with it, but I'd just worry about others in the league.

But we do need to do something. I mean, I like winning, haha, BUT, I don't want to win games 57-3. My stats were realistic (other than the score), but it's just not fun winning like that.

Well, BYU is a "top 25" team, but their rating is pretty poor. Their defense was a C+, which is worse than I think any ACC team's rating. EA doesn't really know how to incorporate good ratings to teams without much prestige (or team's than run a system well...)

jesus. guess my blowout of the week held true too. LSU over UL-Lafayette 91-23. And I'll be advancing tonight with or without Apoc. I say maybe drop the human run block slider from 55 to 50 this week and see how it goes. We haven't really had any good competition to accurately gauge stats and difficulty but I think the run blocking is a little too high anyway. Looks like there are 3 user games this week Clemson @ UT, Miami @ VT, Ole Miss @ South Carolina and the competition is stepping up a little (Arkansas, Pitt, USF)

Also user skill plays a factor...LSU losing to Vandy is just as unrealistic as FSU trouncing BYU

Its never going to be a perfect simulation when individuals are trying to do the best they can and not have the best real life simulation of what would actually occur

I've had my best games on the Heisman. The most realistic anyhow...

It's dumb getting 3 kickoff returns for TDs basically doing nothing but running straight up the gut. I'm also not a fan of getting thrown on for 500 yards... I imagine the sliders on AA make the human AI for players you are not controlling worse too.. but I may just suck on defense.

Lower human run blocking and lower CPU pass blocking. Not sure what the sacks are looking like but a little more pass rush would end the cpu airing it out so easily.

If you move it up to Heisman, you better ramp up the human AI sliders. I couldn't get the play started without getting tackled as soon as the rb got the ball.

They're on Heisman and it was one of the most realistic games I've played in a while. It was VERY, VERY challenging, but I didn't feel like there was ever any BS. And it was easily the most exciting game I've EVER played.

Down 20-16 with two minutes left, I drove all the way down the field and had the ball on the one-yard line with 10 seconds left. With the clock running, they stopped me at the goal line and I called my final timeout with two seconds remaining. On the last play of the game, I ran the ball in with my RB for the win.

When you get a chance, check out the reviews of what people say in the thread. It's been really well received (I modified it a little bit and set Human QB accuracy to 10). If we don't change this year, I say we go with these next year. Seemed very realistic. All of my players stats were realistic as well.

The #3 Crimson Tide dominated Arkansas 31-3 in their SEC season opener. The first quarter was a defensive battle with the teams exchanging kicks and a McElroy int halted a great Alabama drive. Alabama kicker Lane Tiffin missed a 20yd chipshot but the defense held strong, forcing the razorbacks to punt from their own endzone giving Bama great field position. This opportunity wasn't squandered and McElroy connected with Jones for a 14yd TD. The Tide special teams forced a fumble on the ensuing kick and cemented a 14-0 lead going into halftime.

The razorbacks defense stifled the alabama running game for the first half but a mixture of HB dives, tosses and FB runs wore down the Arkansas defense in the 2nd half. Sophomore Mark Ingram's 51yd scamper on the opening drive of the 4th quarter destroyed any hopes of an Arkansas comeback.

UP NEXT: 4-0 Alabama will make their first road trip of the season to Lexington, KY as they put their undefeated streak and top 3 ranking on the line in Commonwealth Stadium against a struggling Kentucky Wildcats.

Despite a few struggles early on, No. 13 Florida State was able to move to 3-0 with a 31-13 win over No. 21 South Florida. Another strong defense effort from the Seminoles held the Bulls to six points until late in the fourth, when USF scored a touchdown against the 'Noles second-string defense.

Without much of a rushing attacking, FSU's Christian Ponder led his team with an 11-of-16 performance for 198 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

It was also a big weekend for the 'Noles as a lot of recruits were in town to see the 'Noles defeat its in-state opponent. The staff hopes the weekend will lead to a few commitments of some top prospects around the nation.

In mine and Apoc's game it hung up on retrieving dynasty info right after the game... that is when it uploads the stats...

But then again it did the same thing for me after my CPU game vs Arkansas and the stats saved...
