the binary distributed for 4:33 included a pretty nasty trojan. Trend Micro didn't catch it, but I found it when I dissassembled out of curiosity. in a VM it was only activated when I had one of several popular mail clients with either my reply to address or my smtp server containing "tamu.edu". gg, TWW, whoever masterminded this shit deserves props of the highest order

Actually it looks like MTSU, FSU, and Nebraska got shutdown. Either by ESPN or by choice, but now all of them have ceased adding to their vote count.

something is jacked up with it because I just tried to vote legitimately on FB and when I click to view leaderboard it does nothing

If you monitor closely you can see ours has gone up a few votes, obviously the legitimate FB voters waking up to vote. Keep reloading the leaderboard and you will see it tick up slowly for everybody. But now the huge additions of hundreds or thousands at a time are all dead. I think they done shut down the current scripts.

This whole voting thing with the smack talk between message boards, strategy, and evolving voting scripts would be a great MS thesis for a Psych/Computer Science dual major. I must admit as a Biologist/ecologist by training, I've seen a lot of parallels to natural selection/evolution the past 24 hours...
