I'm watching behind with about a minute to go. Warren's an assassin. I've been searching for that word since last year, going on about his "composure" and whatnot. He's just deadly.
And we've all known he was really, really talented. It's obvious. But it's just gotten more and more ridiculous every game. 3/9/2014 8:28:03 PM |

Hell of a way to go out tonight....assuming that's his final home game. Maybe an NIT home game if we don't pull off a miracle in the ACCT.

I don't understand the argument that TJ shouldn't be ACC POY based on the success of his team. It's player of the year, shouldn't have anything to do with how well the team is doing. It's just blue bias. 3/9/2014 10:08:32 PM |

^yeah i don't like that argument ("where would team X be without player Y") as measurement for how good a player is. But that being said, Warren is by far more valuable than Parker.
And I can see why people would vote for Parker. But not if they're using the same logic Keeley used.

Kinda sick to think of all the near misses we had from guys who woulda made us a tourney team and an ncaa contender with all of them .
Randle, amile, and Montrezl were all pretty nasty.
Bojangles woulda helped a lot. Purvis woulda kept lee from leeing us to death. Harrow woulda kept lewis from lewising every game.
Who was the jump big man we lost to the northwest? He do anything?

harrell was ours if he didnt get cockblocked by acc rules. i'm going with that one, especially since he was blocked from us by a metro conference school so he could go to a conference usa school that we'll be in the same football division as next year
after that, hiring Lutz instead of Gaudio. With Gaudio we'd be playing some form of a packline defense (it wouldn't be great because Gott would still be in charge and our guys would probably still leak out and try to get hopeless offensive rebounds, but better than the garbage we do now) and we likely don't keep Lewis during the coaching transition as IIRC Lutz vouched for him.

Pretty much any ACC media member can vote. Which lends itself to people who cover one team not really able to fully evaluate players they've only seen play a few times compared to players they've seen every single game. It's an imperfect system...but whatever.3/9/2014 11:38:29 PM |
