We actually played the game for about 28 of the 40 minutes and only lost by 7.

On the up and up we won't lose for the rest of the calender year, get Vandy some playing time and he'll improve a bit, and we'll be ready for ACC play.

Also, no complaining about the refs. Home teams always get the calls in college basketball. You know that going into the game and you have to fight through it. We actually did that tonight.

Still disappointed in this team so far. They need to nut the fuck up and stop being bitches. They took a a step forward last 3 minutes. But you have to play 40 high level minutes. Our lack of D early tightens up everyone on the offensive end.

Love the fight. I thought we played with energy all game. At times that energy didn't translate into execution, though. We gotta work on perimeter defense (as has been the case since last year) and defending the screens. That was Brown's best game of the season. He didn't shoot well, but 10 assists and 1 turnover (the travel with a few seconds left) is great.

Played like they cared tonight. Leslie got bodied on a lot of layups and didn't get the calls. Then the big one when we made the comeback. Gonna be fun to watch us get better as the year goes on, but damn it sucks to already have 2 losses.

We just don't come into the game with the motivation to stop the other team. We seem to just want to score.

The motivation to play defense only comes when we are down big with 10 minutes left.

That's very immature. Brown and Leslie have to set the tone, and they are not doing that.

sheesh a lot of hate in this thread...Michigan looked LEGIT, at least for 35 minutes. Of course, those 5 minutes were when we made the comeback, which is all you can ask for, on the road, first road game, against the #3 team.

We played pretty well. Hopefully the team "hears" the media and how much they liked that style of play/intensity and keep it up/don't get down on the loss

Michigan scored a basket for us, so it's not like we didn't have our breaks. That bad call killed our momentum because we allowed it to, and our shitty defense put us in that position.
