this sucks for England. I foresee our losing a Champions League place within the next 3 years.

in slight retrospect, this is obvious

Gonna be awkward when United plays better the next three games without Rooney.

^That statement is as stupid as Rooney's red card from this past weekend.

^^ Thats unlikely to happen. Chelsea and Arsenal will consistently reach the knock out rounds with at least Chelsea going deep into the tournament. Also the UEFA co-efficients are very good for English teams thanks to Man United and Chelsea in the last 5 years. City competing in the CL is also an inevitable occurrence given their recent spending. Don't get where the doom and gloom comes from for English team in the CL.

Chelsea had to delay the game because Arsenal fans were setting off flares. The reporter said they stopped letting Arsenal fans in after that.

Falcao goal was kind of lucky and they needed 3 huge De Gea saves to win but overall, United definitely deserved the 3 points. They do fade out of games a bit though, better teams will probably punish that. De Gea was absolutely massive.

I thought Ozil had some confidence back in him, but he has been trash. How many times is he going to be dispossessed at the edge of the box?

I am fully prepared for Chelsea to park the bus for 45 min

I feel like Arsenal has brought out the worst in him

in playing for a mediocre side, he has become mediocre

^ I agree that it was a weird game, but Chelsea games are always kinda weird these days. Even if they don't conspicuously outplay the other side, they win 1-0 or 2-0. It's annoying. Still, Chelsea took two chances and Arsenal blew their only one (Wilshere's horrible touch) so for me Chelsea clearly deserved to win.

I hate to say it, but it's maybe time sack Wenger. He's never been bad, but he's been mediocre for an unacceptably long time. Arsenal have been a bunch of freaking underachievers for like 10 years.

Can't wait to have Jones, Herrera, and Rooney back. McNair has done really well to cover for our excuse of a defense. Rafael has been brilliant so far and if he stays fit that will be a huge bonus. Shaw has played really well (yes young defenders will make mistakes) but overall Shaw has looked solid. Still don't think a fully fit United team can beat Chelsea or City but I expect to take some points off Tottenham, Arsenal, and Pool. 3 wins and 2 draws against those 3 teams likely gets United a top 4 spot. Tough ask but with United's firepower it is doable.

Walcott is so desperately needed by Arsenal. You see how much dangerous they are with Ox playing and Walcott is so much more incisive.

Spurs got the short stick on the reffing in the first half. Let's hope it evens out a little in the 2nd half.

Fat frank was interfering on the first goal and the first pen was ridiculously soft. That Kaboul pen was legit, and ironically it was the only one saved. We're getting good chances and I think they've got another goal or two in the bag.

I wouldn't mind at all if Kun went down with one of his trademark injuries

Pretty dull in here lately. Let me put some fuel in the dying fire:

Fuck off you pool, arsenal, and tottenham wankers. You lot are right muppets.

On a serious note, screw international breaks. The only way it could get worse is if United lose.

Unfortunately the premier league season has been pretty tame with Chelsea running away with it. Maybe United can make it more interesting by beating Chelsea and shitty in the next two weeks? Don't think its gonna happen but oh well, I can hope.

We have another international break next month too. Absolutely ridiculous. If Chelsea aren't already 12 points ahead by December it will at least be an interesting Christmas period.
