God this announcing crew sucks. "Winston has thrown a touchdown in every game this year!" Is that some kind of amazing feat? The quarterback's job is to throw touchdowns, yes?

Reliable from 40 and under. If it's over that he has to drive it too low and leads to blocks.

Nice to have a good start to the season for a change. First year of the Rivera era where no one is calling for his job in October lol.

We've never needed a stable corps of elite WR

Ted Ginn: 2 catches, 18 yards, 2 TDs

That's like the WR equivalent of a goal line TD stealing vulture back, from a fantasy perspective

#1 receiver, Ted Ginn Jr., who just had the first multi touchdown game of his career and has now caught more TD passes from Cam then every other QB he's played with combined. What this man is doing with a total shit house of a supporting cast is worthy of the highest possible praise. Replace Dalton with Cam and the Bengals would be breaking offensive records every game.

Agreed. Cam has been paying out of his mind, considering the total lack of talent he has around him. Makes be glad I start him and J-Stew in my fantasy league.

^^and to cam's credit (and to be fair, i've been a cam supporter all along...even to a point where i'm biased and ignore shortcomings) his stats aren't gaudy or ridiculous through 4 games. but he's doing a really good job of hitting the open guy, making a play with his legs when necessary, and most importantly - not turning it over...generally just playing smart football. hell, the dude has made ted ginn a pretty decent WR...in two separate seasons now. and Bersin just set career highs in catches and yards last week. not a ton of QBs can do that. he's playing really well. just bummed Kelvin is out, man

I hear a lot of beefing that Funchess is a disappoint. People don't realize that even though he's just one draft class behind, he's 39 months younger than Benjamin, so it's going to take more time for him to develop. Kelvin will be 25 and a half before his second season.

yeh it definitely sucks that Funchess hasn't been an impact player so far, especially with KB's injury. but you absolutely cannot expect him to put up anywhere close to the season KB had last year as a rookie. besides everything you said ^, he was also a 2nd round draft pick...KB was a 1st rounder. by that alone, KB should be better than Funchess. it's just not a good comparison.

He's having the kind of season rookie WRs usually have, at least ones not picked in the top 5. KB spoiled us last year.

Overall this team hasn't leaned on rookies the way it has in year's past, Shaq is about the only one getting a significant number of snaps. That's a good sign and shows how far the roster has come since G-man took over.

^exactly. and because other WRs have been been reliable, thanks in large part to Newton's play, we do not need Funchess to be the player KB was as a rookie

The falcons have had too many close games against shitty teams to believe they will be undefeated when we play them.

Problem is the rest of the Falcons schedule is full of shitty teams outside of the Panthers. They literally have the "easiest" schedule from here on out and have already played their "toughest" opponents.

Their biggest concern will be Julio's health, he looked like he was struggling yesterday.

Seattle favored by 6.5 the way these teams play each other, that's about a third of what the over/under should be

On the one hand, we're 4-0 and the Seahawks are under .500. On the other hand, we've beaten Blake Bortles, Ryan Mallet, Luke McCown, and Jameis Winston. If we want respect, this is a game we have to win.

Luke and Marshawn will probably bang heads on the first play of the game, concussing them both.

I've been in Seattle the past few days, and the Seahawks local commercials are so much better than the Panthers local commercials

it doesn't mean anything, but it makes me love Marshawn even more

^That happens when you've been to the SB 2 years in a row and actually won 1.

^^Would be more likely that Luke would hit his head on Marshawn's hamstring and both would go out for the game.

Key to this game will be getting pressure on Wilson. Doesn't help that Allen is already dealing with health issues. Going to have to find some pass rush, everyone else seems to be destroying the Seattle OL, we need to do the same to have a chance.
