god damn i got fat over break, didn't touch any cardio or weights for 7 days, just perpetual eating

hurt to work out today, lower back was FMLing all over the place....hopefully Quinn posts about busting ass on pavement

shot some hoops, lifted some heavy ass weights, shot some more hoops, complained about lower back as an excuse for lack of full court running

this weekend (saturday) had a masters meet in greensboro

first place 1000 yard Freestyle 11:56.45 (national qualifying time) also was first event so all the other times were affected a little, also a very 'slow' pool built in the 50's, 3ft in the far end turn (very very shallow), and poorly lit
first place 100 yard Backstroke (i was lazy as fuck in this as i had no competition) 1:24.60 something
first place 200 yard Freestyle 2:09.85
third place 50 yard Freestyle 0:26.30
fourth place 100 yard Freestyle 0:57.31

First place 200 yard medly relay (i did the 50 fly, 29 something split)
First place 200 yard free relay (i did a 26 flat split) very last event of the meet.

they just satrted calling them linda curls, and i started adding that into my biceps day JUST so i could say i did linda curls

"quit taking potassium. drinking a lot of water along with a diuretic like alcohol is depleting the other minerals in your body, yet you're over-replenishing the lost potassium. Unless you're also replenishing calcium, sodium, and magnesium in similar fashion, then you're going to experience cramping.

I'd guess you're deficient in magnesium and experiencing a leg cramp that's almost like restless leg syndrome, where your calf feels twitchy and on the verge of cramping but rarely does. If so, eat more foods rich in magnesium."

eleusis, thanks for the information.

I do not take supplemental potassium, but just eat a fuckton of bananas. However, you're probably on to something very solid with the calcium, sodium, and magnesium shortages.

Interestingly, I took fri/sat/sun off from physical activity. The right calf is still very painful, and feels like getting stabbed in the right side of the calf.. but it comes and goes.. i'll get up from the chair to piss and it's hard to walk, or i wont feel it at all

the fact it's now completely localized has me concerned for injury

or im being a vagina

idk

i "supplement" with potassium if thats what you want to call it

i use the Nu-Salt, which is potassium chloride vs sodium chloride(salt)...nearly half your RDA in 1 tsp, I always add it to any dish that calls for salt, its not as "salty" as the real deal, but does the job fine imo

so i have gone from weightlifting to intense cardio and resistance training (sans weights) 4-6x/week.

im thinking about starting a short but intense weight lifting session 3 or so mornings a week.......

normally i would reverse that an d do cardio/resistance in the AM and weightlifting PM but it's not practical at the time.

hmmmmm...ill let yall know how this goes :-*
