It is difficult to prosecute visa fraud in the best of circumstances, it's nearly impossible to prosecute when an amcit baby is involved.

^^ you'd think so, but it's a complicated mess in practice.

Technically, these people entered the country legally on valid us visas.

Revoking their visa isn't grounds for deportation as the visa is nothing more than authorization to apply for admission into the us. They were admitted legally.

Now when fraud is suspected and uncovered it is up to the doj whether to prosecute. A visa fraud conviction *may* be grounds for deportation but even then it is a longshot. Most agencies are hesitant to touch these cases because it involves a us citizen child that will likely suffer as a result of prosecuting their parent(s).
