That’s my perception at this point.

No one is following the hearings. People accept trump used taxpayer dollars in a bribery scheme, but this scheme and the coverup don’t register as beyond the pale for the average person since politicians waste taxpayer dollars all the time.

They really should have used the opportunity to bring up the child separation, lying about stormy Daniels, emoluments violations, and hatch act violations. The public would be drawn in for the lurid stuff and people would be debating these things regardless of whether they’re valid for impeachment.

Democrats are tiptoeing worried about looking partisan, meanwhile trump invites lavrov on stage to trash the cia and fbi while pompeo stands beside him.

the first part of the judiciary hearings was a wash, but then it was bad for trump. the IG report hearing was somewhere between bad to a wash for trump.

From the IG hearings I owe an apology to Carter Page. Dude got dragged and was mostly right. Papadoupolous, on the other hand, is a lying fool. FISA needs to be massively overhauled but the reality is the only thing preventing that from happening in 2014 was the GOP because they thought losing the ability to violate brown peoples rights was a bridge too far.

Trump tweeted more than 100 times today and the only thing that stuck was Greta. He’s just fishing for what will maximize his divisiveness. This creates a lot of material for his campaign to put in ads too.

Is it not a bit weird that Trumps health is touched with kid gloves? I mean, when Clinton had pneumonia it was literally top line news for weeks.

Trump was badly slurring and sniffling and just altogether oddly behaved through this speech yesterday. And not only was it never mentioned on any newscast but the speech was selectively cut to omit the obvious slurs and sniffs. He also randomly was whisked away to a hospital like two months ago on a Saturday. Just complete normalization of all of it by a terrible Washington media.

I can almost guarantee you that there are more journalists trying to dig into his health issues than Clinton's. It's just that you had him at the helm spouting about how unhealthy she was. No one currently is as loud as he and the Republicans were about Hillary's health.

I think he sounds bad in those professional speeches because its so painful for a him with his ego to read something someone wrote and made him read. You can tell those weren't his words but when he's off the cuff at his rallies, he's in his element and sounds energetic. Thats him being nervous and uncomfortable.
