been out of the gym for a little over a week simply because of being busy (moving and unpacking last Wednesday and Thursday, then family for the holidays as well as yardwork, and then volleyball last night). Hoping to swing by a new gym near where my wife and I just moved and get a membership since we are too far from the old gym we were going to.

My love-hate cardio relationship is sliding over to all hate recently. Probably has a lot to do with the effing pollen.

first day back running, after taking 8 days off due to a bum foot

had a 5 mile path laid out, ended up stopping at 2.5

been battling pollen and it being fucking 90 degrees during lunch didnt help

had zero energy and felt horrible

this is why i dont plan runs in loops, where i run by my house half way through

my shitty will power

^haha great story, that pollen is rough

ever run on the indoor track at state, it was nice last year when i was running to avoid the pollen but damn, only 1/7 mile lap, try to resist the urge to stop after running 20+ laps, that place is mad boring, bring good tunes or chase women in booty shorts to occupy yourself

3x12 one hand front raises (pretty high weight this time!)
3x12 lateral raises
3x12 overhead dumbell press
3x12 reverse flies
3x12 shrugs

then some guy had me spot him on heavy weight dumbell bench and I feel like I did most of the work. on his second set my hamstring cramped up as I was kneeling behind him and I almost fell on him.

Lifted in the morning, played basketball for a couple hours starting at like 6. Playing ball outside with all this damn pollen and the heat today was pretty brutal.

better than getting 2.5 miles in and not wanting to finish off the loop and you're still 2.5 away from your end point

I ran 3 miles tonight before softball practice. Probably another mile total at softball practice.

Went to the gym.

Showed begonias, Samwise16, and [unknown woman] the gun show.

They didn't faint, but I think it's fair to say they had their breath taken away.

Made it 3 miles on the treadmill.

Started to get some sharp pains in my ankle towards the end - but they've already gone away. So I guess that's something.

Nope, I was standing on Quinn's shoulders, so I was very visible. I then did a (very impressive) double twist, full inversion dismount.

I did some HIIT swimming tonight, then stretched, foamrolled, and rolled on a tennis ball.

I think I'm going to make an appt. with the message therapist, as I can't seem to work the tightness out of my upper back.

I just did about 9 miles on a stationary bike for 30 minutes, and yesterday I did some strength training (Lat pull, 130 lbs, Leg Press, 295 lbs, some curls, 35 lbs each, yeah, I know I'm weak ).

I have to run 1.5 miles tomorrow for PE 101, and I'm not looking forward to it. I just cannot run. I never have been able to for long distances. Even after taking Run Conditioning last semester, I still cannot run for long distances. I just do not get it. I even have running shoes with extra padding to help with my high arc and to help correct my push off.
