whose idea was it to sell hard, clear plastic 'cases' to snap onto black Macbooks? Seems like a pointless idea; dirt/dust that gets trapped just rubs and rubs and the laptop I bought has all these find scratches at the edges. At least I have taken it off now. And thankfully the parts I will see while I'm using it look fine.

And the corners of the lid have been rubbed shiny. I definitely prefer the matte look.

No huge deal, but I don't understand the purpose of those cases. Makes your stuff look fugly. Hmph

Not used to being up this early and functional on a Sunday. Bout to go out and be active and then back here to clean up before football. Don't know if I'm gonna go out now or not though- looks like the couple of guys I was gonna meet up with are gonna be out up in brier creek, and a) dont think I could make it in time, b) bit far for just one game, and c) not sure how I feel about the bar - might make more sense to stay in and save some $$
