InstallShield errors were propagating this massive system upgrade i was doing...

some VMWare issues were there, due to trying to link the install media from shared drives

then some other buggers too


(and i had to figure out how to restart a machine that was locked in a shutdown sequence with no rdc, console, or pca connectivity... who knew you could do it from your local command prompt... hell there's even a gui, part of the w2003 server tookit)
