Pretty sure he'll keep the old guy. He's definately house's best bang for the buck, since he's about as smart as most of the other applicants and he won't have to pay him anywhere near that much if he keeps him as an assistant. I'm sure he'll make some demeaning comparison to something like a 10 dollar hooker you can use 100 times vs a 1000 dollar hooker you can only afford once.
