he's averaging 14.9 pts/game in mine

i'd need:
mcnabb
250+ yards -- 5 pts
4 TD's -- 24 pts
0 INTs

brown
50+ yards -- 2 pts
2 TD's -- 12 pts

westbrook
<175 total yards -- 6 pts
0 TD's

that's probably the most realistic scenario i could win with. mcnabb throwin 4 TD's, 2 of which go to brown while keepin westbrook out of the endzone. most likely i won't come within 20 points though.

oh well

Couple weeks ago, I was up by about 8-9 and the guy had Heath Miller. I made a bet, Miller to score first TD, 8-1 odds. Sure enough he did it. I was pissed but at least I won the bet.

Opinions on this trade offer:

Me send - Fitz. & Caddilac
for
Him - Rudi, Lelie, & A. Bryant

A significant hit from Fitz down to Lelie, but more consistent RB & improved #3 WR.

My team is in first as is, because they consistently score in the top third, but the #2 team is way more powerful, but inconsistent.

^NO!

Fitz is better than all three of those fuckers.

Rudi is splitting carries, Lelie is hurt, and Bryant is as inconsistent as they come. He has Dilfer as his QB......DILFER! You are an idiot if you do it.

the saints have had problems finishing drives in the past month or so... but the browns have had that problem all season

pats D is ailing, fins are relatively healthy

play the fins, and hope that cleveland waits another 8 weeks between running TDs.

here is my situation

please pick the top 3 that you would play for this coming week and why

T. Green vs HOU
D. Brees vs BUF
D. Bledsoe vs DET
C. Palmer vs IND
J. Plummer vs NYJ

these are my QBs from 2 different leagues (one league I can play 2 and the other, only 1)

Palmer would be the obvious choice because he has done the best this year but he is going up against the an unbeaten VERY GOOD Colts team

^That is easy. Plummer is a sure thing, as is Palmer, no matter who he's playing. Of the rest, Brees is simply the best bet.

teh Jets rank last against the run, but have way above average corners (Ty Law). Look what he did to S. Smith last week.

Plummer is by no means a sure thing, they are going to run Anderson and Bell into the ground. I would be shocked if Plummer had more than 200 and 1 score.

Same can be said for Brees and Palmer. The chargers will run the hell out of LT against a bad Bills rush D, but again, thier corners are above average...however, they have no one to stop Gates and considering how much LT catches the ball out of the backfield, Brees is a great play.

Palmer could be forced into a shootout, but all indications are saying that they want to run the ball alot more than normal to keep the Colts off of the field. Not a bad play, but knowing their game plan, as well as the pass Defense that they are facing, it could be tough.

Bledsoe and especially green will be good plays this week. Niether have good secondaries and the run will open up plenty of deep passing attempts.

So, there you have it.....THE GURU'S RANKING OF YOUR LIST

BREES
GREEN
PALMER = BLEDSOE (IF, AND ONLY IF, THE CINCY GAME IS A SHOOT OUT. IF NOT, PALMER DROPS)
PLUMMER

what do you think of that?

- THE FANTASY GURU

^he was asking a question
^^Arizona got destroyed last week by..Joey Harrington..enough said, go with Bulger. With the emergence of Gaddo I think GB will try to focus in on the run with Minny's weak run D.

ok, now back to your question Volcom...

Palmer - hasn't proven himself to be a good leader in the big games, so look for INT's under the pressure from Mathis and Freeney.
Plummer - Jets shut down the previously hot Steve Smith, so look for more of the same.
Brees - I think the Bills will spend all week focusing on the run, so if they can slow down LT, Brees and Gates could have a big day.
Green - Houston's D is pretty bad, and after last week's debacle, I think he'll be focused and with a good running game supporting him it'll open up the pass.
Bledsoe - Has played well at home, and against a depleted Lion's D and with 2 big weapons at WR, he could have a really good game.

I'd say Panthro's list is solid too, but due to running games, I'd change it up a bit.
Brees
Bledsoe
Green
Palmer
Plummer

I was saying who would perform better. Green is playing badly right now, & Bledsoe is mediocre at best. Yes they are playing bad teams, but still, they are not playing that well, & I wouldn't count on them against anyone.

I still say Brees, Palmer, & Plummer.
At least with them you have the potential to score big. Green has only had 1 big game all year. Bledsoe hasn't had a big game since week 5.

I think you're making a big mistake to go otherwise.

QB question

E Manning vs PHI
or
M Bulger vs ARI

I can start 2 QBs and have Carson pegged in the 1 spot.

Steve Smith - got shut down last week and this week he is playing a better D
Hines Ward - Maddox is starting but look for them to continue to try to throw the ball

In FF i say barring dire circumstances you put your best player in the line up. That Smith Johnson and Fitz. Steve Smith has been torching Ds. SO what if he got shut down. You really think anyone sat LT down when he had 17 yards against philly?

Ya, exactly. Unless you are playing a bad team with little firepower, you always bring your big guns. Situational subbing is only when players are of similar potential. With that said, the answer is clearly Fitz, Smith, & Johnson.

Is Adrian Peterson worth giving a shot? I'd be taking out Jimmy Smith, who has been hampered by a quad.

Delhomie only had 10 completions against the Jets. They weren't throwing the ball downfield.

However, the wind will stop Steve Smif this week if the Bears D doesn't.

^^I'd have to go with Miami. I mean Cleveland is pretty bad offensively.

^^^You can't bench McGahee. Chicago doesn't give up much, so I'd go with Grandmama vs. Houston also.

if the panthers get inside the ten yard line against the bears its almost a garunteed TD for stephen davis.

1) they won't get many opportunities in the red zone against the best D in the league

2) It's hardly a garuntee against the best D in the league

Whereas, LJ should easily surpass 100 & at least 1 score.

agreed, but lj smith is going to be mcmahon's safety blanket...he could have a big day and miami's 2nd string qb is starting today too, but i still think mcmichael will have the bigger day

also, see if you agree with this move:

out of boldin, smith, wayne, porter and galloway...

i'm going with boldin, smith, wayne and galloway...i think porter could have a big day, but i can't make myself bench the other stud wr's i have

nah, atl has been playing ball control, keepin the ball away from the highly prolific tampa bay offense

vick has more pass attempts (24) than tampa has total plays (11 passes, 8 runs from cadillac, 3 simms scrambles, and an alstott run = 23)
