lost okafor and wallace to injuries...neither serious i dont think, but okafor's loss not only cost us his points, rebounds, and blocks, but he was also the only person capable of stopping bosh. then when wallace went out in the 3rd, it was over. felton was 3-17? morrison and carroll, 4-14 each? i'm surprised we even scored 76. 2/25/2007 1:18:57 AM |

He was shutting Bosh the fuck down too. Then Bosh had the nerve to say something like..."Oh...well I was just figuring out Okafor when he went out...so I was still going to go off." Bullshit. You were getting owned...got lucky when Okafor went down...then you tore it up. Alien-looking motherfucker.2/25/2007 2:48:48 PM |

Quote : | "CHARLOTTE: F The only team with enough cap space to facilitate a three-team deal (where they'd absorb a big contract and pick up a No. 1 for its troubles) ... and naturally, it didn't do anything. For instance, let's say the Knicks wanted to get Vince from the Nets for Jamal Crawford and Channing Frye, only the Nets didn't want to take Malik Rose's contract back. Charlotte comes in and says, "We'll take Rose ($7.2m per, expires 2008) if you take Othella Harrington back ($2.2m per, expires 2008) if you gave us $3 million and Chicago's 2007 No. 1 pick." So the Nets get 80 cents on the dollar for Vince (Frye and Crawford, an underrated player with a reasonable deal); the Knicks make a huge splash with Vince; and the Bobcats pick up a No. 1 in a loaded draft. Everyone wins! Again, probably too logical of a scenario for this league." |

there is no way the knicks were going to do that and give up a number 1 in this years draft. 2/26/2007 7:35:13 AM |

if so, wont that pick be out of the lottery as well
no matter what we do in the draft
we HAVE to sign Gforce back and bring in a Free Agent like Rashard Lewis 2/26/2007 11:35:46 AM |

I'm pretty sure the Knicks actually would do that deal.
They've coveted Vince Carter for awhile and the only way they have a shot at him is through a trade.
They also get a chance to rid themselves of Malik Rose's awful contract, Jamal Crawford's megadeal, and Channing Frye who they don't have any need for with David Lee completely outperforming him.
I think the Nets would rather get Frye (need a post player badly) and Jamal Crawford (gives them a young scorer) than lose Vince for nothing.
We get another #1 pick basically for free just for absorbing Malik Rose's contract for a year. 2/26/2007 5:16:07 PM |

^ I have no idea, I thought he would play last night
At least the Bobcats made a game out of it
Carroll: 6-12, 2-5 from three, 19 points, 9 rebounds Morrison: 6-12, 3-5 from three, 15 points, 2 rebounds Felton: 4-13, 1-4 from three, 13 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists Wallace: 7-17, 20 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists
33 team fouls on us but only 19 on them, they were blowing the whistle too much
Corey (duke faggot) Spaggette: 25 points, 19-20 from the free throw line thats just fucking stupid
Clippers: 38-45 from free throw line Bobcats: 17-23 from free throw line
After game 1 of our 6 game West road trip: 0-1 2/27/2007 11:04:56 AM |

is this directed at me? I am talking about his playing style of attacking only he has the highest FT attempted/FG attempted ratio in the league. He is also the clips's highest in terms of +/-. Felton could be one of the best guard in the league if he was a little more relentless attacking the basket and abusing the dumb rules that are currently in place like Wade and Maggette do.2/27/2007 6:39:54 PM |

from SI.com
Quote : | "There was a lot of talk about the Bobcats becoming a big free-agent player this summer after co-owner Michael Jordan sent a letter to his ticket-holders promising to increase the payroll.
"I don't believe this talk that Charlotte is going to spend its cap space this summer to sign Vince Carter,'' a Western Conference exec said. "They still must re-up [Emeka] Okafor, and they've still got to decide what to do with Gerald Wallace. They're losing millions with the lowest payroll in the league. I think Vince Carter is going to end up in New York. The concern throughout the league is money, and New York and the Lakers are two of the teams that don't have to worry about that.''" |

damn i nearly put Aldridge in my fantasy lineup cause i thought he might play well with okafor out. No clue he was gonna drop 30
This losing is good for us... if we get a top 4 pick we're guaranteed to get a good big man between oden, durant, noel, wright (even though i dont think wright will be particularly good)
There arent any good big men available through free agency so its going to be very key that we draft one. 3/2/2007 4:07:05 PM |
