Last season was pretty good but the six episodes shown in the fall were such a fucking crapfest I canceled my tivo season pass. If that's the best they could do after a whole summer of writing, I'm not wasting any more time on the show.

Its pretty sad when they have to advertise that they aren't going to show any repeats. This show is really starting to piss me off, I used to love it, bet the last season and this season have just been blah, and its hard to get into it when they take weeks and sometimes months of during a season. They are really fucking up what was a badass show the first season.

lots of shows have advertised this

its just that LOST has worked really hard to piss of it's viewers and so they desperately need to show no repeats to keep it's audience

ALIAS and 24 are two shows that I know of that have done seasons all the way through without any breaks or repeats. there's probably more

If the scheduling pisses you off so much, why not just wait until the season DVDs come out and watch it all in a block? I love 24, but I came in around season 4 and I have to admit watching it on TV sucks when compared to watching it on DVD (even with the non-stop season with no repeats).

Because eventually someone is gonna spoil some shit for you. Its like trying to go the next day after the Super Bowl without finding out who won because you wanna go home and watch it a day later. Its really not gonna happen. Atleast with me. When shit comes on network TV, I expect it to come on in the fall and last to the spring with VERY few interuptions. A big show like LOST should not have a big cliff hanger in season 2 in the Spring, then come on in the fall with 6 episodes, then go off for 3 fucking months and come back on with the next 16. Not to mention the weeks of reruns we had to go through just to get those 6 episodes. Its like The Sopranos, I LOVED that show, buts its almost become shit because they take so much time off. They lost TONS of fans, just like LOST has lost a shitload of theirs too. After awhile, people just move on.....

^^^ Good point. My girlfriend is still on season 3 of 24 on DVD and she had a lot of things spoiled by hearing about the beginning of season 5. These serial shows are still a lot better on DVD.

I don't see why if they wanted to do this split season they didn't just have a run of like 8 or 9 shows and then have it off from Thanksgiving until Christmas. People are busy then and travel anyway, and a 4 week break isn't that big of a deal. But then with only 13 or 14 episodes left, I guess they wouldn't have enough to last until May sweeps. I hope next season they just switch to starting in January like 24.

This thing is crap. Not one good episode in season 3 thus far. But this one was beyond crap, especially after hearing about how this part of the season was going to take the focus off of the unholy love triangle and get back to the characters that don't suck.
