Yeah, I saw that. That's crazy, b/c MS owns 100% of their stock.

Maybe it'll be good? Cross your fingers for a Marathon remake. The story in that is so good and whacky, and updating it all to something like the Halo 3 engine would be rad. Although, I still would expect halo 4 to be quite honest....it's too valuable an IP to give up on, and Halo 3 so far has been on fire.

I think that attitude is really most annoying thing about the Halo fanbase. They seem to think that they are part of some sort of mainstream sensation, and that anyone who doesn't enjoy Halo is a fun hating troll. The fact is, despite what MS would have you believe with their overdone marketing campaign, Halo is not mainstream. It's a niche game tailored to a specific niche market. Combine the LTD sales of Halo and Halo 2, and they don't even come close to equaling that of a game like GTA:SA, which has real mainstream appeal. It gets even worse when you leave the US, where Halo is just another game, and in Japan it may as well not even exist.

What does all this mean? Not a damn thing. If you love Halo, great. It seems like Halo 3 was about the most perfect game Bungie could have made for fans of the series, and I applaud them for delivering on their promises. However, it would be nice if you all stopped acting like there wasn't a rather large group of gamers out there who simply don't care about Halo.

^ yeah i feel that. the only reason i bought the game was to toy with the forge mode after i get use it halo again. i originally was not going to buy it at all - you can read my posts to see this. this may be a stupid reason to by a game, but at the same time this game has high resale value, so if i get tired of it i can get a good bit of my money back out of it.

I couldn't agree more, with that said, I still plan on buying this when it gets to ~$2x.xx like I did with the past two versions of this game.

^ I don't know, I don't have any problem with it. Try doing it just a little bit before you think you should. It will draw you a little bit towards them. However, occasionally I miss my melee and they keep on shooting.

That's the easiest way for me to kill people when I have the AR.
