I don't understand how people can not get that hockey fans are aggressive douchebags when hockey is such an aggressive sport.

I respect most any fan of any team in the NHL that is passionate to the point where they would have no problem lopping off someone's leg for their team, but still, it is my job as a fan of my team to at least give them some hell during the game and it is their job to give me hell back. That is what hockey is about: put foil on your knuckles, scream like a person speaking tounges in a cult, get fired up, fuck with the opposing team and then shake thier hand at the end of the game- because when it comes down to it- you both LOVE the freaking sport.
It is freaking hockey man. If you aren't a loud douche-bag every once in while, and can't deal with loud douche-bags every now and then then watch curling (which, may I add, is AWESOME) OR go out and watch some golf.

Of course we were cheering like crazy for our respective teams but to be there with fans from different teams and have a good time was great. its not worth it, man... you'd never be completely fulfilled in life. you'd probably get drug to orchard park for football games and fear for your life. then after awhile, you'd start to feel 'connected' to their teams, and even sympathize with them. you'd slowly become one of them. she seems cool and all, but thats just the years in nc talking...
