In WWII, I think they learned the word Corpsman would draw you to them and they would kill you, so the Marines on Iwo Jima started using some actor's name that had a bunch of Ls in it because the Japanese are bad at sounding out Ls. Basically, if you yelled Corpsman! you should a chance of being shot by your own men.
