^^^It was known ahead of time that Beck would get some reps. Wilson wasn't doing much early on, so I thought trying Beck was a good idea.

The INT was only partially his fault. It wasn't a great throw, but it was basically just bad luck.

I was honestly just in shock when Brown ran that td in to seal it, it has been so long since anything good has happened for state in these situations that I had already prepared myself for 'that nc state shit' that I was sure was on the way

also props to the entire stadium and student section for bringing the fucking house down in those pressure situations where our d needed stops. That shit was as raucous and loud as the UNC game last year and it definitely messed with ECTC's head.

A lot of the fans in the student section were doing the 'EVERY ONE QUIET' from what I saw (and did). I think more of the noise comes from other parts of the stadium.

There was a microphone right in front of us between the band and the section I was in. That probably contributed to how loud we were on TV... there was a decent crowd near me making lots of noise when called for.

ESPN generally does a lot better job at picking up on the atmosphere and placing mics so you can hear what the stadium noise is like, really adds to it when you have to watch on tv

And I want some frigging videos man, ESPN has that short little bit on the game page, but damn if I don't want to see/hear a lot of that over again

The band... not sure if it was because of where I was sitting and I could hear the brass instruments... But their timing was off. The idea of throwing out new chants was a good idea, but not 3 at once. Introduce one at a time might be better.

Once again we really need to abolish that NNNNNNN CCCCCCCCC STAAAAAAAATE NCSTATE chant and replace it with an N. C. STATE. chant, the same basic beat as the 'block that kick' chant, because it was downright embarassing watching the student section try to do it.

People get to excited and start speeding up, and then you've got about 10 different tempos going at the same time and it just sounds like a big jumble, totally unorganized and there's no power behind it at all, you can't even make out what's being said.

I'm just saying introducing all three at one time just is too much. Especially when he was talking about it, feedback and acoustics suck so you couldn't understand him that well. Apache caught on in the past few years. The N C S U chant I think has potential, rather easy to follow along with.

yeah i really liked the ideas of the first and second songs/chants that they did at the beginning of the game, i'm just not sure if i liked the method.. it just seemed kind of weird the way it was introduced.

needs to be helped by messages on the jumbotron too.

but i liked them.

and yeah i can't remember if it was before the game or early in the game where the student section was first yelling N C STATE N C STATE and then it suddenly died down and came back in the form of NNNNNNNNN CCCCC STAAAAATE and you really couldn't understand it as well as you could before
