I have a Netgear Extreme N router hooked up to my RG. Just turned off the RG's wirless service. Works fine. Though, I have some spurts of connectivity issues every couple of days, but I think it has more to do with the crappy RG. Just take into consideration that it's pointless if your devices don't have wireless-N capabilities.

I used to have a Apple Time Capsule as my router and DMZ setup on my RG to the time capsule...let the time capsule handle DHCP. But since you can't turn off the routing in the RG I ran into issues with things like SSH that has really long delays when using. So now I have the time capsule as a bridge, turned off wireless in the RG and let the RG handle DHCP. Haven't had any issues with that.

i just canceled my uverse tv u450 package, the picture was way better than TWC HD... But since I live in an apartment complex that forces me to pay $43 a month to TWC even if I dont use it :-( I just can justify the $109 for uverse anymore.

But I was able to keep my internet though... So now its only 18/1.5 from now on unless uverse offers a really sweet deal to come back.

I just got an automated voice recroding from AT&T saying that tonight between 5pm and 12am they will be upgrading the U-Verse service. That we shouldn't experience any disruptions in service but if you do, unplug the gateway for 60 seconds and plug it back in.

I hope this is the 3 HD stream / pause/rewind from any box stuff!

Just got it installed today Got the update voice recording today about 15 minutes after the installers left...
Is it obvious when updates are being installed like with TWC, or does stuff happen in the background?

I've had zero issues and love it. TWC can suck it!

The internet isn't the fastest... but its always up, plus I got the cheapest available, I'm sure the larger pipes are just fine...

Canceled cable a few weeks ago after they tried to hike my rate to $125 from $99.

Then they called and offered me digital cable + roadrunner for $75 without any contract -- which is great deal, so I took it.

The cheapest I saw U-Verse for is $100 for cable + internet.

these assholes don't care for customers at all. they admit someone lied and that I had been fairly compensated, but there was no way that they could continue the promotion or credit it for us. When I asked why I should stick with them, their answer was - well, that is your decision to make.

so they reduced all the cash back offers by $100...It went from 350, to 300, and now to 200. Looks like the trend will continue, so if you wanna get some cash back I'd advise getting it while you can.

I've used the first and it works great, the second i wasn't aware is even out yet.

My one complaint is that it used to be unbearably slow but with the latest patch it seems to be a lot more responsive with web calls.

^I haven't noticed a degradation...it's always been slow But then when i go to my parents house and use their TWC DVR...its even slower so i can't complain...I haven't had my own cable service in years until Uverse so i really didn't know any better.
