Yep.

As is Rafa. (not that I necessarily agree with that, but it is what it is)

Didn't someone score a goal against City a couple years ago b/c of balloons of the field that messed up someone trying to clear the ball?

Yeah, it was 2 years ago, I believe. Joe Hart was in goal. Can't remember who it was that Citeh were playing though.

the Liverpool game made me realize how limited is the talent on that side

they have absolutely no depth, and even when everybody's healthy, I really can't think of a starting 11 that wouldn't have at least two glaring weak links

Not entirely sure as to how the ref allows that goal.

there's always shit on the field. granted streamers and confetti and shit aren't going to cause the same deflection as a beach ball, but what are you going to do? their own supporters threw it out there so they can't really complain.

and lol at the first comment from the video link...

It was a blatant mistake by the officiating crew. The goal simply should not have been allowed according to the rules and it doesn't matter who was responsible for the ball being out there. So, in that case, they have every right to complain.

To use it as an excuse for the loss, on the other hand, would be stupid considering it happened in the 5th minute and they probably should have lost 4-0.

and a definite lol on that comment

Where's the Man Eww v Lolverpool talk. I figured you people would be all about that already. I'm actually going to go against the grain and predict a close one. 1-1 draw. Benayoun and Owen.

yeah i was thinking he should def have a yellow card for persistent fouling. berbatov's yellow was ridiculous.

it would prob be 2-0 liverpool right now if foster was in the goal....thats how much faith i have in that joker now . van der sar with the clutch save on the freekick

p.s. scholes is not up to the pace of the game anymore. hes fine when there is no one within 10 yards of him...but any pressure on him and hes way too slow now. hes already tried his hardest to gift liverpool a goal twice

ok i was wondering if the ref was incapable of giving liverpool a yellow card today

come on mj jr...i think its time for a wonderstrike.

[Edited on October 25, 2009 at 11:34 AM. Reason : not a yellow on vidic...srsly ref]
