^^^^ The best line available currently has UNC as 1.5 point favorites.

I'm thinking he just forgot the points beside Carolina. Do you want to pick another game dzags or take the Heels to cover that 1.5?

I have a chance to be 2-0 after tonight if it goes over 49 and Miami covers

I also have a chance to start Week 4 with an 0-2 record

I see you went with the Hogs to at least make it a close game. (maybe win?) I know you're the resident SEC guy, but Bama looks ridiculous. What do you think?

brain says bama, heart says Arkansas...

although Bama's one "weakness" (which is a very relative term) is their secondary, and Arkansas has one of the best WR groups in the country, maybe the best... so they might have a chance

I could see Alabama winning by 3 points, I could see Alabama winning by 3 TDs, what I can't see is Arkansas winning outright, even at home

i'm kinda curious where dzags got that 9 pt spread for our game, best i can find is 8.5. in this case i'm professionally curious rather than calling foul in the PS Challenge

If we could agree on one particular website for lines, it would make the issue moot.

i mean, if you are savvy enough to follow the lines and get a more favorable line from a legit site, you should be able to do it. slave said when he started this that he only calls foul if he cant find that line anywhere in which case you have to show that it exists. i have been constantly looking at the State line and havent seen one at 9. i'm not accusing, just curious where they found it since i noticed AC had it too.

This is Olympic's timeline. That book had it at -9 at one point, but currently no sportsbook has it at -9.

Sorry I didn't respond for a while, too much Starcraft2!

I found the line (where I find all my lines) on http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/. There was only one listed at -9.0, but it was listed at that. I have no issue with changing it to -8.5 or -8.0 if you guys want, but it was at -9.0 as Ribs showed.

That Oregon line seems a little off.

I got on it early when it was 11 and now it's 12 or 12.5 everywhere.

Quote :

I checked the lines when they came out on Monday and it might have been there briefly right after opening, but it quickly got to 11.5 and 12 everywhere. I wanted to bet this game at 11 so I kept a close eye on it through the week to see if it would come down and it never did. I'm certainly not going to call you a liar, as you might have found some discreet book that had it at 10.5 momentarily. However the "consensus" line ,at the time you put your picks in, was -12. I'm not going to be pissed or anything if you give yourself a win, but it would be nice if you would push that game with me and we can just move on.

What does everyone think about not being able to have the same wild card games as someone else?

There are more than enough games to go around. You have to gamble that someone will not use the game you like if you want to wait on a better line, and it gives you a better shot at climbing the standings.

I don't like that.

Handicapping is hard enough in general without extra rules being added. Plus, if other people see a line they think is a winner they should be able to bet it. This format is perfect IMO.
