^^^ Yeah I feel that way but I'm sure a lot of it has to do with me wanting Orlando to win.

^^ That is dead on, Orlando (not just Howard) bitches about every single call

Garnett: 6'11" and drains 20' jumpers
Howard: 6'11" and misses layups

haha Van Gundy is pissed, he needs to tell HIS TEAM how bad they're doing, not just the TV audience

I dont see how the Magic can beat Boston in the garden the way they have been playing lately. Its crazy how quickly the tides turn in the playoffs. Boston was barely picked to make it out of the first round since they are getting old and dont seem to have the same fire they used to. Orlando was a wrecking ball coming into this series off of two straight sweeps.

Now it feels like Boston has all of the momentum and will likely be the favorite to win the series, probably in 5 or 6 games. Very few people wouldve picked the celtics to come out of the strong eastern conference this year

Not sure what JJ was thinking not calling the timeout where they could advance it. And I imagine that was NOT the play that Ron Jeremy drew up for Jameer.

I imagine the NBA and ABC are praying for Lakers/Celtics at this point -- especially after Lebron got the axe.

the only reason people were so down on Boston was age and injuries

injuries have healed...and 2-3 days between each game allows age to heal as well

if that happens we should just drop a bomb on the arena they play on and make the world a better place

lebron

maybe that explains part of my celtics animosity.

Obviously, I was thinking Orl-Cle in the East finals so Orlando would have an easy road to the NBA Finals so i was scared shitless when Boston awoke for the playoffs.

It's pretty unreal to see Orlando not get any calls at home, now they need two desperation road wins to even have a chance to win the series.

Vince Carter has nearly sealed his NBA legacy as a Superstar that can't make plays.

Rashard Lewis has already sealed his legacy as the worst $100+ million player in NBA history.

When JJ Redick is your best offensive option to start the offense you know Jameer Nelson has completely melted down as a player.

Matt Barnes took 9 shots and 5 of them were blocked which is embarrassing (though 2-3 of them should have been fouls).

Pietrus shouldnt even see the court right now he's so abysmal.

No one can guard Pierce even though he only has two moves and he's been making the same shots for 12 seasons.

Orlando refuses to play Gortat even though he's the only guy that can give Orlando a chance to get back in the series.

Ugly, I didn't like this matchup from the get-go, but it's embarrassing how badly Orlando is playing.

Dwight Howard has to stop smiling and step up as a DOMINANT force, not just as the best or 2nd best (rondo?) player on the floor. Their supporting cast isn't good enough if the Celtics play like that.... at this point they look like favorites over the Lakers for god's sake...

nah, Rondo is by far the best PG in the East and you can make the argument he's better than Paul, Nash, or Deron at this point.

He controls a game on both ends in a way none of the others can, and if he's going to score at will like this then it's a pretty tough argument to take any of the other three.

Wake me up when John Wall is anything in the NBA, I just don't see it at all. If he's lucky he might be the next D.Rose which is barely worth a snooze button. Anyone that passes up Favors for a serviceable PG is crazy.

The magic barely beat the celtics last year.

I told you guys not to sleep on the celtics. I told you the regular season was complete bullshit. I told you the lakers should have gave bynum surgery immediately after game 4 vs utah.

This is just insane. Nobody in their right mind would've thought the lakers needed bynum against the suns. He doesn't even fit in for this series but they probably can't beat the celticithout a full strength bynum (unless kobe goes off for 2 or 3 40 pt games)

the suns is an odom series.

the celtics would be a bynum series but bynum looks like complete shit right now and will only get worse between now and june 3rd.

celtics in 5 lakers in 5 and celtics in 6 unless something drastic happens.

playoffs have been terrible so far. only been 1 game 7 and that was not competitive. very few of the games have been competitive, close games. i'd be shocked if either of the conference finals gets to a game 7. can only hope that the celtics/lakers will be entertaining

yeah but i was just thinking how a 65 team tournament has 64 games 7's and the nba playoffs might only have 1 or 2 this year. i usually really enjoy the nba playoffs but this year NCAA>>>>>>>>NBA postseason

i have to agree this postseason has been abysmal so far.

The league has a lot of talent but the disparity and the dilution is really rearing its ugly head.

I think Celtics-Lakers will be a good series, but the first 2 rounds were barely watchable and these conference semis are very disappointing.

I think next year will be worse, but the league will emerge from the lockout with a stronger balance in place where Brian Scalabrine doesnt make $5 million to sit on the bench while Ray Felton struggles to get $5 million a season.

everyone thought the Boston/Magic series would be a good series, I have a feeling the Celtics' old legs are going to catch up with them once they get to the finals and the Lakers will sweep them. Making for the most disappointing NBA playoffs ever

Lakers sweep the celtics? Not a chance.

The Lakers are dependent on easy matchups and they wont get any of those versus the Celtics.

Maybe if they played back to back games...but since they have 2-3 days between each game, I don't see fatigue being a problem for Boston

haha hell yeah Artest knows whats up with defense as much as Craig Sager knows about the Bridge

does gasol need to yell every time someone touches him? he's getting better and better but you don't need to scream like hey look at how tough I am when another guy actually makes contact with you

this is some really soft basketball. i dont think anyone has been put on the floor in this series.

we all know odom and gasol(partially) will disappear when soft basketball ends against the celtics.

its like the lakers are running practice run through. No resistance and as close as it was these games were never in doubt.

There is a serious lack of intensity and attitude in the playoffs this season. I am not one for condoning and pushing violence, but man where are the days where you did not allow an easy lay-up? Where are the coaches who would get a Tech just to make some noise and get his teams attention? Where are the fouls to put a player on the floor to make them earn the basket and make them think about coming to the lane again?

You don't have to be dirty and try injure anyone but damn don't be a push over and just give away points. At some point pride has to step in and say enough is enough and send a message.
