Technically not Panthers news anymore, but Jeff Otah failed his physical to open training camp and is on active/PUP...whatever that means

my bad i thought we had Mare for the Clausen year...I guess it was Kasay who missed a would-be game winning field goal, which would've given us 3 wins and therefore lost the #1 pick which we used on Cam
^PUP list = physically unable to perform...Otah used to like to come home at 3am all wasted with ugly fat bitches...no work ethic] 7/25/2012 9:27:44 PM |

Kasay missed that FG vs Cleveland. I remember being happy because it gave us a better chance to get Luck. 7/25/2012 9:30:29 PM |

yeah versus Cleveland
i think it was right after Clausen made the best throw of his NFL career to Lafell on the sideline to even put us in field goal position
I can imagine Richardson looking at Kasay before that kick like ] 7/25/2012 9:34:38 PM |

Mare will be fine this year. Kasay sucks at kickoffs. Field goals are fluky from year to year, Mare is one of the best kickers in NFL history 7/26/2012 9:29:16 AM |

Smith had no connection to the victims in the July 20 shooting that left 12 people dead and 58 injured – other than as a parent and husband.
“As a father and husband I cannot imagine the pain and suffering the victims are going through,” Smith said in a release Thursday. “My family’s hearts and prayers are extended to theirs, and I hope this contribution might assist in paying some of the medical bills that will help allow these families to move forward in this tragic circumstance.”" |

He's got the 2nd most famous gaffe in Super Bowl history.
Only behind Leon Lett, and Lett's gaffe was in a 40 point blowout. Kasay's lost the game.
And he gives out bible verses on halloween instead of candy.
Mare and Kasay have practically identical FG% accuracy. And Mare doesn't let the other team start at the 30 yard line every drive. 7/27/2012 9:34:13 AM |

A few notable things I've heard from camp
-Tolbert is looking beastly; both running and catching.
-With Gamble sitting, Josh Norman is playing with first string defense opposite Captain (I've also heard Captain has been starting shit with some of the offensive guys, Stewart included)
-Keuchly is starting at OLB with Anderson. He's supposedly playing extremely fast sideline to sideline.
-WR's are dropping tons of passes, Smitty included. Louis Murphy might've got nicked up last night. He was hobbling supposedly
-Thomas Davis was limping around on his hurt knee last night (shocker). Doesn't appear to be serious though
-The new kicker supposedly can't miss from 40 to 50 yards out. People love him. People hate Mare. 7/30/2012 2:20:22 PM |

i still dont get the tolbert signing. He was pretty bad last year and horrible in short yardage situations. I know he was injured, but still... why would we ever want to give the ball to him over cam in short yardage anyway?
Plus Williams and deangelo... just seems like a horrible waste of money to add tolbert when we could have used CB or S help so badly. 7/31/2012 7:59:24 AM |
