Definitely not his best effort so maybe "garbage" for the best SG in the league. But he's not the reason they're losing. They're down 24-14 in rebounding and 12-7 in fouls.

Harden is missing a lot of 3's he usually hits though.

What kobe is doing is gay but its not flopping. He is grabbing guys who get close to him forcing a call to be made. This wouldn't be possible if they would just let Kobe catch the ball. Pretty crazy that they don't want a bad player to even catch the ball anywhere inside the 3pt line.

look man, kobe has come out and said he doesn't believe in flopping. How many times has kobe hit the ground? Flopping is jumping on the floor not flailing your arms. Lebron constantly breaks his neck and jumps on the floor. Any decent offensive player flails their arms when they get fouled. They are playing ridiculously physical to not let him get the ball 20 feet from the basket.

Bottom line is if you have to prevent a guy from even catching the ball on the perimeter to have a shot at stopping him then you are screwed. The offense will always prevail in that situation.

Kobe missed tough shots down the stretch but didn't fuck up. Perkins fronted and wouldn't let Bynum get the ball and it reversed to the other side of the floor for Kobe iso as plan B.

Its not like Kobe can get back to the other side and get it to Bynum or do anything better than jack a shot up when he catches at 6. I just want to know what you guys want him to do in that situation?

This is what I was telling face earlier. If Bynum doesn't get position for an entry pass, then Gasol is the only person other than Kobe who could possibly get a shot up that late in the clock.

Kobe made the perfect play drawing the double team and hitting Gasol for the open jumper and what does this mother fucker do? throw it to the best player on the other team.

Don't get me wrong. The Lakers were at the best of their abilities tonight. They played really well AND they ran a 7 man rotation which was great coaching by Mike Brown.

They just aren't on the same level as the Thunder.

But the Thunder right now look like the Spurs might destroy them. Popp has made some of the right moves by relegating Jackson to the bench. He's playing Leonard more than before.... the only thing that REALLY worries me is him playing Diaw. I feel like the Spurs will be a good play, and if there is any coach you can count on it's Popp.

I want to see the Spurs run their best players. Diaw is a non-rebounding PF/C. That won't work against a powerhouse team.

They need to run a stud like Splitter or at least go small with Ginobili. Either way is cool.


When I see the Spurs I see two potential problems:

1) Their veterans wear down and play like the Tim Duncan of old. (the guy who puts up 20 and 10 with 6 turnovers)

2) Popp plays Diaw/Jackson a lot while sitting studs like Green, Leonard, Splitter, etc



But when it comes down to it i see Brooks making so many mistakes against the Lakers, that i think the Spurs will be ridiculously undervalued.

I realize it isn't ever going to happen, but people need to get off of Lebron's nuts. Yes, he shouldn't have said, "I'm taking my talents to southbeach....we're going to win multiple championships" But it takes a lot more than 1 man to win a championship. MJ had Phil Jackson. Kobe had Phil Jackson. Spoelstra is a shitty coach.
It takes a lot of factors coming together to win a championship. Gregg Popovich has figured out how to win with an aging and changing team.
My point is, Lebron can't make every pass and shot by himself. You can't accuse him of choking every time the Heat lose. He has always had a lot of pressure on his shoulders and should not take most of the blame every time that he doesn't win a championship.
