ACC hasn't been as deep as the Big East in years (real tough when you have 50 teams) or had as many 'great' teams at the top as some other conferences, but when it comes to national titles, we're as close in basketball as the SEC is in football

omg the big east has a bunch of teams that play well in the regular season and suck dick in the tourney aside from uconn and syracuse occasionally, even though unc and duke have multiple titles this centuray, even though unc benefits from independent study classes to keep their players eligible

you cant name a single conference as good or better than the acc this century if you factor in important things like national championships
