I'm getting destroyed by Reggie Bush and Blair Walsh. Used my 4th and 5th round picks on Roddy White and David Wilson. I hate fantasy football.

I'm looking to get rid of MJD...if I were to package MJD and maybe Steve Smith, what kind of player should I expect to possibly get? Or maybe MJD + Sproles or MJD + Ryan Matthews for a good RB?

or maybe I should just bench MJD all year

Prbably just as well to hang on to MJD for now. His value is shit right now. Maybe things improve some with Blackmon back next week.

Thoughts on Trent Richardson the rest of the year ? Should I hold on to him, or try to package him for a underachieving RB such as Rice or Spiller? My other rbs are Martin, Ridley, and Woodhead. Thoughts?

I like Richardson alot on Indy. He's only been with them for 2 weeks and looks like he's picking up their offense quickly.

Someone just offered me Witten, Spiller, and R. Mathews for Gronk and C. Johnson.

My other RBs are Forte and D. Richardson

C. Clay is my other TE.

Thoughts?

Holy crap Kenbrell Thompkins saved my ass last night and gave me a fighting chance. Up 5 points but my opponent has Charles Clay left.

Which C. Johnson?

Let me know what you think about this trade:

I give Rivers and get Gore. My other QB is Rodgers and I also have Bradford. My RBs are Morris, Wilson, and Ryan Matthews.

sorry, should have clarified Chris Johnson

Witten is a solid TE
Mathews seems to be getting more work and SD continues to win.
Spiller is a risk but has a huge ceiling.

C. Johnson hasn't found the red zone once and continues to lose all his red zone carries to Battle.
Gronk has high ceiling IF he can actually play at 100% for the whole season. It's already been noted that he's lost a considerable amount of weight due to his injury. That is going to play a role in the beginning of his return.

I sorta thought you might mean Chris, given you mentioned your other RBs. In that case I would probably do that trade.

Doesn't sound great for Spiller, and even if he plays there's no way he'll be 100% by Thursday. Freddie Jackson also sprained his MCL, so it might be a good time to pick up Tashard Choice. Joking of course.

so is there any reason to keep Ivory on the roster at this point?

I could handcuff Morris since Helu Jr. is available, but that won't help me any next week (WAS bye). there's really not much else. Ellington is trending, maybe I could pick him up. some NE backs not named Stevan... blah

I have a potential trade where I'd give up DeAndre Hopkins for Fred Jackson. I need RB help (since Stevan Ridley is still screwing me) and he needs WR help - both would probably be flex plays for us. Fair trade?

but b/c i'm nice, I'd think you could get more for Hopkins than FJax, isn't he (FJax) hurt?

I would drop Hopkins immediately. Unless you're OK with getting between 2-5 points/week (with the occasional 10+ once every two months) this dude is fantasy garbage

He's played Seattle, Baltimore, Tennessee and SD and managed to have 20 receptions for 270 yards AS A ROOKIE. Each week he gets better and against legit defenses no less. Why would you drop him?

Damn, I was hoping Spiller was going to miss more time. I definitely think Hopkins has solid fantasy value this year but the only other RBs that might be available would be either Reggie Bush or Gio Bernard. I'm not sure that either owner would be willing to go like-for-like on those guys but I guess it could be worth a shot.

if somebody offered me Hopkins for Jackson, I'd jump on it. (Apache style)

he's been a solid flex play this year and his injury doesn't seem serious.

Got a trade in the works I would love some feedback on.

I give Aaron Rodgers, James Jones, Roddy White, and Owen Daniels
for
Steven Jackson, Darren Sproles, Julio Jones, and Eric Decker.

Standard scoring league. My other QBs are Rivers and Bradford, WRs are Hopkins, Hilton, and Mike Williams, and I currently have Alfred Morris, David Wilson, Ryan Matthews, and Jason Snelling at RB. I would have to pick up a TE. Gonzalez is available for some reason, so I could drop Snelling for him.

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE.

Unless you're playing in a really big league or have a larger than normal bench, I don't see any reason to own Ivory or Ellington, and I agree with you on owning Helu, doesn't do any good right now.

If those are your best options, there's got to be a decent QB you could pick up and flip in a trade, or another D/ST to give you options there, unless you have a solid week to week starter like SEA.

Pulled the trigger on this deal. Granted, I'm undervaluing Rodgers here with Jackson being out until Week 7, but White probably won't be back to 100% by then anyway, and the roster I had wasn't winning any games. Had to shake it up a bit.

^ I think that was a wise trade for you. Obviously you are going to need Phil to keep playing well, but now you have a deep team that you can play match-ups with.

which mediocre running back has the best chance to put up decent numbers against one of his former teams this upcoming week:

BenJarvus vs. the Patriots
McGahee vs. the Bills

^^That was my thinking too, and yeah Rivers needs to keep it up. It's going to be iffy until week 7, but I'll have a 6-7 week run to make the playoffs with a roster I'm happy with.

^Neither one, but I would go with BGE over McGahee.

Le'veon Bell is on waivers in my league. It's a PPR league and I have Bush, Sproles, Moreno, Ball and Tate right now. I'd drop Ball to get Bell.

How much of my FAAB would you put into a claim on Bell? $20-$30?

[^^^I'm still trying to figure out which side you think is getting the benefit of the trade, so yeah, I think it could be fair depending on each team's needs. Bowe's been a disappointment and Rivers has been on fire and has an easy road ahead the next few weeks.]

Depends on the other QBs and WRs on the respective teams. Can't make that call at face value. However, I would hope I could get better value from Rivers than Bowe.

^How much $ do you have for waiver bids? I would certainly think he would bring a high price, but it's hard to determine a FA's value in leagues like that. The last time I played in one, I don't think I ever bid over $5 or $6 or anybody.
