I worry about all the fat attached to their internal organs

So, as we get fatter we should move our standards to accommodate? It was a question of preference and most people prefer the thinner girl that's in shape. 2/12/2014 4:44:47 PM |

No. I'm not saying we should move our standards to accommodate people. I'm saying it's weird that we're making them more extreme--as people get further and further from a healthy ideal, they're obsessing more and more over bodies. It's strange and sad. 2/12/2014 4:51:45 PM |

But its not extreme, its just that everyone else is getting so much fatter 2/12/2014 4:58:15 PM |

I think it is extreme. People used to like pretty ladies, and they occasionally disagreed on how big was too big for boobs. Now we examine every last detail, and some folks have seriously grown to prefer ab definition and implants as a model of "fitness." I realize people have more time on their hands to exercise and wider access to surgical options, but it's still strange that this nonsense has caught on in light of how out of shape the average person has become. 2/12/2014 5:19:22 PM |

Can we just put that Michelle Keegan lady down for the whole thing?
It seems there's no need for a ridiculous mash-up. 4/17/2014 4:45:12 PM |

I mean, there's ab definition, and then there's ab definition.
I like a little ab definition, but not full-tilt bodybuilder type, or even "needs to dial the Crossfit back to 4-5 days/week" type. 4/17/2014 6:04:07 PM |

Go check the fitness women thread. Go through latest 5 (or 10 or 3) pages, and count how many look like men to you out of how many, then calculate percentage.

The people that lost so much weight and don't show that kind of skin must have either had surgery or lost it very slowly.
