It's crazy how these things work. I struggled for three months to get real good job leads. I was offered a contract job early this week (I haven't signed off on it yet) but with that on the table I have two more great opportunities that presented themselves yesterday that would be full-time and full-benefits.

Amazing that all these happened at EXACTLY the same time.

It's not TERRIBLE, per se

short version: had a date last night, that was supposed to be filled iwth wonderfully kinky activities

I made him watch O Brother, Where Art Thou - and he was fine with this. We'd discussed it ahead of time; he loved it, as I figured he would.
The problem is that I've been REALLY short on sleep lately, and working multiple 12hr days. I CRASHED so hard during the movie. Like, fell over and couldn't open my eyes crashed. I managed to technically stay awake, and mostly upright, for the movie, but afterwards...oh man. I remember him saying "you can have my bed...oh, but you look quite happy right there". I woke up @ 430 and he'd covered me iwth a blanket and put another one on the coffee table

So no ass-fucking, figging, or teasing happened

I feel terrible for not asking how my grandfather is
but it's not relevant any more. I have said all the goodbyes I can; beyond this, I care mostly about how it impacts my travel plans. And work.
I'm not going to get hung up on a shell of of body in a nursing home, nor do I care to remember him like that.
