nah- I think diet is the hardest thing to control when trying to get back into shape (I am not one of those people who can just "stop" eating fast food, red meat, etc) so one of those programs is a great idea in my mind.

Weight Watchers is great. I lost 38 pounds while on Weight Watchers. The only reason that I left WWs was due to getting pregnant and I'll probably be back on it after the baby.

^^i like it. i've been on it for like 4 weeks now. i lose around 2 pounds a week. its definitely a "slow and steady wins the race" sort of deal, at least for me. but it is working.

well part of weight watchers is that it encourages you to work out as well. but yea I'm currently training for the tough mudder so if i'm not working/at school i'm in the gym/running. me and my social life had a horrible break up

ran lake wheeler for the first time today. all i can say is HILLS.

but yea slow = keep it off. hopefully. people are starting to notice the weight loss though it's encouraging. I recommend WW

ballroom dance people used to come into the cheesecake factory all the time. Most of them, like Peter said, were just awkward nerds. The servers always hated waiting on them though because they hardly ordered any food, came in 30 minutes before close with like 20-30 people, and smelled bad. They were always nice to me though.

that's what will happen to you when you go out and drink away your sorrows just about every night.

i've gained like 10 pounds in the past month.

...not that i needed anything else to feel shitty about in my life. yay! :\

i think i'm done with alcohol for a good while now... mainly because i think if i did what i'd like to right now and drink to forget about shit, i'd become an alcoholic, despite my somewhat odd aversion to becoming addicted to anything whatsoever. i mean, last month alone i spent a completely ridiculous amount of money on bars.

so, yeah. basically, the past two months have been the craziest months of my life, and they've been a complete and utter emotional rollercoaster. i can't do this any more.

i know all of this sounds melodramatic as shit, but it's tough to not overthink things when it looks like your life is crumbling down right before your very eyes. just two weeks ago, i was the happiest i can ever remember being. this weekend, however, has been one of the shittiest ones i can ever remember having. i'm just glad it's over now.

I think you're right to want to make the decision on your own, but getting input from your family and SO is the first thing you should do. You don't have to follow that advice, but at least they'll feel they had some input in a decision that would not only change your life, but probably theirs too.
