NOBODY'S DOING SHIT FOR ME TODAY.

I'm down to 1 league where I have a fighting chance of winning, so watch LT finish the game with 2 carries for 11 yards and no TDs

On that big QB question, I hope he followed my advice and started Brees, 4 passing TD's in the first half. Too bad Dallas didn't air out the ball.

lol.....your answer?

guess again, sucker.

Quote :
"teh Jets rank last against the run, but have way above average corners (Ty Law). Look what he did to S. Smith last week.

Plummer is by no means a sure thing, they are going to run Anderson and Bell into the ground. I would be shocked if Plummer had more than 200 and 1 score.

Same can be said for Brees and Palmer. The chargers will run the hell out of LT against a bad Bills rush D, but again, thier corners are above average...however, they have no one to stop Gates and considering how much LT catches the ball out of the backfield, Brees is a great play.

Palmer could be forced into a shootout, but all indications are saying that they want to run the ball alot more than normal to keep the Colts off of the field. Not a bad play, but knowing their game plan, as well as the pass Defense that they are facing, it could be tough.

Bledsoe and especially green will be good plays this week. Niether have good secondaries and the run will open up plenty of deep passing attempts.

So, there you have it.....THE GURU'S RANKING OF YOUR LIST

BREES
GREEN
PALMER = BLEDSOE (IF, AND ONLY IF, THE CINCY GAME IS A SHOOT OUT. IF NOT, PALMER DROPS)
PLUMMER

what do you think of that?

I too said Brees, so how is it not my answer as well?

Though Bledsoe didn't do so hot, but I don't expect Green to have much better of a game.

So I'd take it as both of us being right.

Panthro your advice sucked...you call yourself a fantasy guru, but you were wrong on multiple points.

Quote :
"I would be shocked if Plummer had more than 200 and 1 score."

Plummer had more than 200 yards, but no tds

Quote :
"Same can be said for Brees and Palmer. "

Wrong and wrong...both had career high games today...

Quote :
"The chargers will run the hell out of LT against a bad Bills rush D, but again, thier corners are above average...however, they have no one to stop Gates"

LT had one of his worst games of the year and gates was barely used (although they each had 1 td)

Quote :
"Bledsoe and especially green will be good plays this week."

Bledsoe had one of the worst games of any fantasy qb today...green hasn't played yet though...

before you call yourself a guru...i would have a better success rate than you do

i picked up leftwich as a free agent for this week...beat that advice for a free agent

they werent sure things, asshole!

Palmer may have had a career day (2td's and 350 yds) but if you read what i originally wrote, the quote:

Quote :
"Same can be said for Brees and Palmer"

was in reference to the thought that:

Quote :
"they are going to run Anderson and Bell into the ground"

exactly what they did. The matchups favored a run heavy play calling for all of those teams. I said that here:

Quote :
"The chargers will run the hell out of LT against a bad Bills rush D, but again, thier corners are above average...however, they have no one to stop Gates and considering how much LT catches the ball out of the backfield, Brees is a great play"

and here:

Quote :
"Palmer could be forced into a shootout, but all indications are saying that they want to run the ball alot more than normal (WHICH THE DEFINITELY DID UNTIL THEY WERE FORCED TO THROW) to keep the Colts off of the field. Not a bad play, but knowing their game plan, as well as the pass Defense that they are facing, it could be tough."

He only got 23 points in my league.....its not like he threw 4 touchdowns.

READ WHAT THE FUCK I WROTE BEFORE YOU MAKE STUPID COMMENTS.......

by the way......i have now thrown up 160.00 points this week in my 10 man league.

listen to what i say, win your league, thank me later.

-LT had 19 carries...well below his average

-anderson and bell play for DENVER...they ALWAYS run...that goes without saying...they are a run based team and have been that way since the early 90's

-cincy had 26 total carries...well below their average...

there are 3 things that you were VERY wrong on that you are claiming to be a guru about...and that's just in what you posted to try to justify your "guru" status, like anyone on here buys that...

I still say Brees, Palmer, & Plummer.
At least with them you have the potential to score big. Green has only had 1 big game all year. Bledsoe hasn't had a big game since week 5.

I think you're making a big mistake to go otherwise.

^^Glad that helped ya. I do the best I can. I don't consider myself a fantasy sport 'guru', but I hold my own, & I am in first in my league.

Too bad Brees was playing against me this week. Bastard hangs 45 points on me & knocked me out even when I still was among the top scorers. And I could have secured a playoff bye week too. Oh well.

and I still have gado to play, unless he fumbles on the first play, loses 2 yards, and doesn't return, I have another win under my belt

Pick 2 of Three:
*Droughns (@ MIN)
McGahee (CAR)... Don't think he'll move on CAR much
*Bettis (@ IND).. If Roethlisberger starts, he can atleast move the ball so Bettis can maybe get in the end zone a time or two, plus its Mon. Night and I want to have a guy going.

Pick 1:
Brees (WAS)... I'm playing against McCardell, and w/o Gates, McCardell will probably be Brees top target not named LT. Don't want my points to negate to the team I'm playing.
*Green (NE)

Pick 3:
*M. Muhammad: @ TB, go-to guy on a team that is playing very well. Nobody in TB's secondary matches up.
*C. Johnson: Obvious reasons
Lelie: Plays the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day... Will probably be a high scoring game
L. Evans: ?
B. Stokley: Monday Night, Peyton will get 2-4 TDs but who will they go too?
*Brandon Lloyd: 49ers actually put up some points last week and so did B. Lloyd. But Alex Smith is going to be the Week 12 starter I think. They do play @ TEN and TEN sucks.

Pick 1"
*Green Bay DEF (@ PHI)
NYG DEF (@ SEA)

Yeah, my team sucks. But if I win this week then I get to knock this prick out of first place. I'd appreciate anyhelp.

i'm thinking about benching McGahee for Domanick Davis? unless it looks like he won't play. only other option at RB is Julius Jones.

Santana Moss should have a good game this week right? he's been hurting me the past 3 or 4 weeks. i'm thinking about benching him for KRob or another RB listed above.

Broncos D @Dal or Falcons D @Det? I'm feeling the Falcons D.

gates is not out

Nov 22 Updating previous reports, Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates (foot) is feeling a little better and wants to play in Week 12.

Nov 21 Gates was sporting a protective boot on his sprained right foot on Monday, and he was unable to work out with the San Diego Chargers. However, all tests on the foot were negative, and the tight end is optimistic that he'll be able to return to the field later this week. For now, he has been listed as day-to-day.

if ur playin against mccardell, then thats good, if brees throws him a TD it will equal out, his TD agaist ur TD. so its a good option to go for not to mention Brees has been pretty near perfect the last few games

Green is always a test if u ask me, go with Brees

Denver or Jacksonville D?
and still Parker, Tiki or Lamont need 2/3

PICK 4

Smith, Boldin, Galloway, Porter, Wayne

As of now I have Wayne on the bench...
Smith is on fire,
Boldin is on fire,
Galloway should rebound from being shut out in a big way,
Porter has been HUGE in his last 3 or 4 games,
Wayne has been solid, but Peyton has so many options...

What would you guys do?

^Tiki and Lamont because I don't think Parker will have big runs against IND in such a big game...

mienutzich:
Leftwich - Philly's secondary is still solid and should give Favre problems
LJ - never sit him.
Edge - don't sit him either.
Smith - best WR stat wise in the league right now.
Fitzgerald - been hot as of late and Warner seems to be moving the ball quite nicely

That RB question isn't really a question, Gado and Parker had a few hot games and have since cooled off(Gaddo looked terrible against a weak Minny rush D). Tiki is usually a strong play, but with those other two you have, Tiki should only be used during the other 2's injuries or when they had byes, haha.

jmpack15:
Droughns against a weak Minny D.
McGahee because you never know how many times Bettis will touch the ball.
Brees is the safe pick, but if you want to go out on a limb try Green this week. He's playing a depleted Pats secondary and after last week could get hot like he did at the end of last season. But it just depends how you're playing it, safe pick would be Brees, but Green could have a monster week(I'm starting him in one of my leagues).
Chad Johnson - like Chad said, an unstoppable force.
Lee Evans - with McGahee probably stuffed, look for Losman to pass a lot.
Brandon Lloyd - has talent, Tenn's secondary is depleted, now only to worry about the QB.
Defense...yikes, neither of those are good picks. But you have to go with GB against Mike McMahon, though Seattle stumbled a bit last week, they have been one of the best offense's in the league behind Alexander.

JT3Bucky:
Warner is hot, so don't pick a defense facing them. Usually those D's are both dominant and safe picks, BUT, both are in iffy games this week. One is facing an incredible passing game, and Denver is going into Dallas, and that can be dangerous, they've been known to put up monster numbers at home againt solid teams. But I'd go with Denver there.

Lamont and Tiki, Miami is without superstar LB Zach Thomas so look for Lamont to have a good game. Plus Willie is looking at a tough Indy D and the TD's will probably go to Miller(Big Ben's return will help him) and the Bus.

wolfNstein:
The Panthers have been good against the run statistically, and the Rams really haven't. So if Domanick is 100% definitely go with him. And avoid any RB against Denver's D.
Bronco's D or Falcon's D, neither looks good right now, Falcon's are on a back-slide and playing on the road, the safe pick is Denver the way they've been playing, but neither look good right now. It's pretty much a coin-toss here.
