JMPack, sounds like your betting too many parlays. A lot of them look so good, and one thing will always lose it.

Just wondering, b/c it seems like almost all the plays you post are parlays.

I try to find a happy medium b/t good solid money management and keeping it fun. If I put $100 in my acct. and put $10 on every game....just wouldn't be nearly as fun for me. I might as well play the stock market.

But I also try to keep from playing way too many parlays and unloading on things that seem like sure bets.

I love to play parlays, so I just reduce the number I play. A few years back I won $3,000 off a $25 bet. To be honest, looking back, I can't believe I put that much on an 8-team baseball parlay.
This past football season, I won $1,200 off a 7-team college parlay. I think it was 7 teams....I hedged like $400 against Notre Dame on the last game, just to make sure I made some money or it would have been $1,600.

Anyway, just some thoughts. Its tough when your bankroll is small. That Belmont race with Jazil really helped my account out. Got the info on Jazil on madjacksports.com/forum

I'm going with Edmonton. They could have easily won Game 1 on the road. Goalie seems to have settled in after the blowout in game 2.

Oilers at home for almost even money knowing that a loss pretty much ends the series.

blues - yea i screw myself on taking parlays all the time. i dont throw much money around to start with so parlays is the route i go. i usually build up the acct on 2-3 game parlays and then hope to bank on a 5-6 gamer once or twice a month.

Thats cool. Like I say, it is tough to play small. You figure winning $5 or even $10 is like no big deal but putting $5 on a chance to win $100 or more....it just so rarely happens.
But, the 2-teamers and similar can hit, esp. in stuff like baseball.

You should do a research study at aai this summer. Make a quick $800 or so and throw at least $500 into an account for football season.
I'm hoping to put $1,000 in and play mainly college football and see exactly how I do from late August thru early Jan.

I took Miami ML pretty big. $95 to win $50. That line looks fishy to me. I was thinking closer to a pick. Seems like everyone and his brother going to be on Dallas.

I had planned whole day yesterday to take Canes and switched at the end. Man, that sucked.

I think Canes and Dallas both win in 5. (Dallas in 5 was my original prediction before series started).

Man, I know the east is horrible, but I also believe in conspiracies to a certain extent. Can't believe how bad these pussies have played 2nd half. Where's the heart? Only ones on this Heat team with any are Wade and Zo, and Zo is 60 years old.

I hate the Heat and hate that I bet on them. Really thought they'd play their asses off at home Game 3 and Mavs would adjust to win game 4. Dammit.

Did win on Mets, but only $25. Looking like a really bad night. Every time i unload, I lose.
