Ev is the senior leader on this year's team. A lot of things he does don't show up in the stat book. Like bringing the ball back out and run the offense.

Evtimov does a lot of things to help the team but he fucks up a lot too. And if you cant see that then you are blind. For example he played like total dogshit vs. Seton Hall and he was never taken out. because he does all these "great" things I guess.

Just something to think about for the new ratings...

Seton Hall beat (alibet, an overrated...) Syracuse (#24) team on Syracuse's floor. So they beat two top 25 teams (both away games) in one week.

This may help us not fall quite as far, who knows...

I consistently appreciate everyone on this team even though Grant still makes me nervous--I'll give him credit where credit is due though. It's stupid to say that anyone on a top 15 caliber team doesn't deserve to play though. You take out Atsur, Evtimov, Grant, Brackman, and Bethel like everyone seems to want to do, and you're left with Bennerman, Simmons, and freshmen/walk-ons. Maybe everybody should just relax except oh wait this is TWW

i love this. evtimov is the fucking horse whisperer of basketball when he shows up 1 out of every 5 games. That's a whole lot of whispering to make up for the 15-20 points he gives up a game in addition to fouls on our players who have to make up for his mistakes.

I dont really want to take out anyone but Grant. I think Fells will prove to be much better than Gavin when all is said and done. Last year, Gavin was rusty as a freshman, but I expected him to improve a little over the offseason. Now, he just needs to sit. The only thing he can do is shoot free throws, and he cant even control the ball long enough to get to the rim to get fouled. If he would have improved half as much as his best bud Ced, he would DOMINATE this year.

But I think the most frustrating thing about watching Gavin is that you see flashes of brilliance, and then he turns in to an automatic turnover.

Evtimov is only a problem on D against taller players. His hands are good enough to defend smaller players and sometimes rip the ball away when helping off his man, he's just not built to play in the middle which is where he ends up playing every game.

i know simmons fucked up in practice or something. brackman started and didn't get many minutes, and simmons had a shitty day. When simmons had that lame violation right before the half, sendek was furious at him. He needs better games down the stretch
