Alex was kidnapped by the Others, and then her genetic material was cloned and used to impregnate Ben. Remeber that Rousseau got the male rat pregnant.

BAM!

episode solved.

also, the sky turning purple was referenced in the survivors guide (the episode at 9:00pm). When desmond fucked up the hatch, there was all of this purple light (ultraviolet light) in the sky. One of the others referenced this before, saying something like "when the sky went purple, our COM's went down". The ultraviolet light fucked up their computers, so they could no longer leave the island.

BAM!

Desmond had weeks to sail and couldn't get away from the island. So what kind of "computer" could've been helping them all along?

So from Mittelos Bioscience, the front company trying to enlist Juliette, is an anagram for "Lost Time". Think that has anything to do with Desmond's experiences?

is there a way we could make a thread called "LOST season THREE sucks?" That way all you faggots who cant seem to go a day without complaining can all go say the same shit over and over somewhere else.

i started blocking people who didnt have anything to contribute, and half this thread is blank spaces.

i'm disappointed. i LOVED lost, esp the first season. i'm going to continue to watch hoping that once they get back around to the rest of the group it'll get interesting again. i'm just tired of ben and the blonde chick and whatnot.

although, the room they put the boyfriend in...that was fucked up.

Desmond attempted to sail away from the island at one point. He was completely un-hindered. He said he sailed for weeks and got nowhere.

I still think this is all hurley's dream or something. Maybe they're all in a psych-ward and hallucinating.

That's my theory.

went the others let micheal and walt go, didnt they tell him to continue in a specific direction and that was the only way to get out? i seem to remember something like that.

Mittelos is a rather random name if it wasn't intended as an anagram, and if the writers intentionally put in an anagram it has to refer to something. Not that Desmond is linked to Juliette or anything. Just his weird experiences with being transported to the future or seeing the future... lost time. Don't know... its a stretch, but aren't most things?

Found this:
Quote :
""It’s a testament to our fans that only one clue we put in got missed. And it was something we hid so small, a tiny message hidden in a billboard. Other than that, people have figured everything out. I will say that there’s something hidden in tonight’s show. There’s an anagram that’s a clue to what’s coming up.""

They let him go before the implosion at the hatch. It's possible that the directions they gave him were meant to send him in a circle or something around the island and they planned on retrieving the boat(and the two passengers) at a later time, but now that the button wasn't pressed he will actually be able to get free of the island because the magnetic force isn't there anymore. I'm betting the hatch implosion will factor into that whole Michael getting away storyline in one way or another in a future episode.

i really liked the first season and kinda the second, but this one is pushing my buttons, it turned from kinda intriguing and somewhat creative to just plain stupid where its a continual mind fuck with too many questions left unanswered when new ones arise.

last nights episode was good to me, there werent any crazy explosions or sci-fi moments, but it did show Sawyer and Kate finally escaping (which will lead to something good in the future) and it showed that Juliette is only an other because she is being held against her will

I think they are doing experiments with time... and the time on the island does not equal time outside the island...for example...

the bioresearch company was called Mittelos BioResearch.

Mittelos is an anagram for Lost Time... the producers said there was going to be an important anagram in the show...

also... desmond can suddenly predict what is coming in the future, as if he has been there or something...

during the flashback, the guy was trying to recruit juliette... he showed her a picture of a pregnant woman... juliette predicted the woman was in her 70s...but she was really 26 years old, according to the man...

also... jack and some other people found 2 skeletons in a cave. jack mentioned that they would have had to been there at least 50 years to be in the condition they were in...

Hurley and Sayid were on the beach trying to pick up a radio station at night... all of a sudden they heard some 50s music or something... sayid said "it could be coming from anywhere" and Hurley replied, "or anytime..." Sayid gave Hurley a weird look after this... but Hurley could have been on to something

something funky is going on...and it has to do with time... just my guess

the black smoke monster popped up and turned into Kate's black horse

except that mothafucka could talk

and he popped Desmond in the face like 6 time real fast

In the present, Jack is finishing up his surgery. He asks Tom why they didn’t just take Ben to a hospital. Tom is about to reveal something about when the “sky turned purple,” when Jack accidentally nicks an artery, and Ben’s vitals start to spiral. Meanwhile, the escapees reach Alex’s boat, but Karl, in his semi-conscious state, calls out "Danny!", noticing that Danny Pickett is right on their heels. Sawyer takes a dramatic stand against his nemesis and Kate rushes to his defense, thinking that her lover is about to die. Juliet appears from the jungle and shoots Pickett three times in the chest, killing him.

Jack works desperately to save Ben with Tom’s assistance. Juliet tells Kate and Sawyer that they can leave, but Alex has to stay, or else "her father" (presumably her foster father, thought to be Ben), will get incredibly angry. Alex reluctantly agrees, and then Juliet has Kate call Jack on the walkie-talkie. Jack gets Kate to repeat the story he told her the first day on the beach, about the operation he botched in which the little girl almost died because he made a mistake. As she tells the story about how he didn’t let fear take control of him, Jack regains his concentration and finishes patching Ben up. “Promise me that you’ll never come back here for me, Kate,” Jack demands. Kate and Sawyer flee the island with Karl.

In a Miami flashback, Juliet is in a morgue, and she breaks down and cries as she signs paperwork for Edmund’s body. In the present, Jack tells her the operation was a success, although they’ll have to do a biopsy to ensure the tumor is benign. Unfortunately, Jack will have to return to his cell until “they” – as Juliet calls the Others – decide what to do with him. Jack demands to know what Ben said to Juliet. In the Miami morgue, Juliet is approached by Ethan and Mr. Alpert, who expresses his condolences for the horrible accident with her ex-husband. Juliet quickly suspects that they had something to do with this tragedy, especially since she had told Alpert in the interview that she wanted Edmund to be hit by a bus.

“We came because we’re that serious about you working for us,” Mr. Alpert insists, and reveals that they also know about Rachel’s pregnancy. They tell Juliet that if she comes to work for them, she can be back in six months time, long before Rachel gives birth. Unfortunately, Rachel can’t come to Portland with Juliet, because the site is . . . actually pretty remote. “Well, actually, we’re not quite in Portland,” Mr. Alpert says.

In the present, Juliet reveals that she has been on the island for three years, two months, and 28 days, and Ben had told her that if he lived, and she helped Jack, Juliet could finally go home.
