Awesome video, but where in it does it show Favre talking shit to the fans? Find me a video where he is right up at the stands yelling stuff at fans. Nobody is denying Favre, or other top QBs get fired up on the field. And as you will notice, Favre did not start that, he was simply dissing it back to Detmer and the opposing team. At no point did he direct anything at the fans.

So find me a video where he is up at the stands yelling stuff at fans. Thats why all of this is such a big deal and apparently you still fail to understand that.

Oh, I'm sure they do. Hell I would get entertainment out of getting a professional athlete to talk shit back to me. That still doesn't change the fact that it was a classless move by Rivers. A move that every single person and sports show outside of TWW seems to agree with.

^Do you even know the story behind it? Detmer led a drive and threw that pass and thought he had the game won and did his little whip dance. Then Favre came on, led a fast drive and score to win the game, so in response to Detmers pre celebration, Favre dissed it back to Detmer.

There is a HUGE difference between Favre doing that and Rivers yelling shit to fans.


And if you watch the video, he is doing the suck it sign to his own sideline/teammates mocking Detmer and laughing about it.

well that Rivers segment wasnt bad. Confirmed what we all know about him not being a bad guy or really "trash talking" but more just talking because he can't stop. Tomlinson said it was fine, Merriman said it was fine, Norv said he shouldnt be turning around talking to a fan who is probably 12 deep, and they said a bit on him being a family man and good person, just fired up about the game of football.
