I was bored yesterday morning so I watched the Roy Williams show.

As soon as I turned it there.. they showed highlights of the game. Only problem was, the voice wasn't ESPN analysts, it was fucking Woody Durham. If there is anyone I can't stand, its him. when it was like 3-3, they hit a 3 and Woody goes, "AND ____ HITS A THREE AND THE HEELS ARE SOARING IN THE LEAD! LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BE A GOOD NIGHT!" I wanted to punch something

But then, they showed a news conference with Roy. I have to say; Roy is the most classy individual ever to have anything to do with UNC. He had nothing but good things to say about State. He also didn't really provide any excuses except the whole "we had more heart" bullshit. But overall, the dude is a complete class-act.

On the subject of signs, who had the 'RiDUNKculous' along with the 2 other signs? They got on the tron a couple times and I was right behind them. I saw that 'bandwagon' sign and took a picture of it too cause I remembered it from here, haha. Other good signs were the Hansborough - Puppet, Tyler no calls, and that woman with the face on a stick.

I am a classy NCSU fan (in that I don't heckle and I don't bitch when we lose) and just like always, there are a few bad eggs that make us look bad.

All schools have their bad fans, whether we have more than others has yet to be proven. There are people who are just on this site to be negative and argue with everything you say (See: Ernie and CharlieEFH)

i agree to a certain extent. there certainly are some classy ncsu fans, but unfortunately, there are more then just a few bad eggs. as a whole, i certainly wouldnt call us a classy fan base.

I don't know if that is the case or not but I do know that they have one of the best ADs in the business now so maybe it was more of a business move and less of a Roy sold someone out type move. Lew Perkins is the AD and he was the AD at UConn who was a major part of transferring them from a regional laughinstock as late as 1987 into one of the best programs in the country. He also laid the foundation for moving football from a local 1-AA program into a BCS conference...

However it happened, KU upgraded majorly at AD.

My favorite State game that I went to was when we beat Wake (w/ Chris Paul) when we were down 17 in the first half. That was, by far, the loudest RBC has ever been for basketball. When Scooter hit the 3 to go ahead late in the 2nd half the wall part of the student section (side that is all students on the lower level) literally was shaking. Louder for that game than any game with Duke or UNC that we won at RBC...

the loudest i ever heard rbc was the nut-punch game. unfortunately we didn't win that one. . . but the jumbotron operator kept on replaying the bad calls and the punch over and over during timeouts. riling the crowd up.

have you guys ever thought about roy williams being a "classy" guy, is because he's motivating his players?

comments about us shooting 75% in the 2nd half, playing with more heart, getting rebounds...

he's basically saying all the puzzle pieces had to fit for us to win this game.

he's motivating everyone of his players so next time they play better defense and play a little harder.

basically chances are we wont win the next game because it's unlikely we'll shoot 75% in the 2nd half, we will get outrebounded, and unc will want to beat us...

I think it was wrong that lowe said "it's all about heart and guts"....

he should have said "if we execute well, get rebounds, and play defense we have a high chance of winning"

So that way when we play GT or whoever coming up, our players will know we MUST get rebounds and play very good defense. (something we arent that good at, and can get better at)

but hey, if we lose all our other games the rest of the year, I'd still be happy we beat UNC, I had fun heckling all my unc friends, they couldnt say anything
