no replacement plan??

I wonder if it's possible to use an XLR Shure SM57 with xbox 360. I found an XLR->USB cable but I dunno if it's compatable. Granted it might be too expensive to justify buying.

I want to find the game and a set of drums cheap and just use my two GH3 guitars. I guess the xblive headset could work :\

I tried using a headset to sing while playing the drums, but I couldn't adjust the gain low enough to not pick up the drumsticks hitting the pad. The constant clicking sound was annoying.

Has anyone in here rigged up a double bass pedal for their drums? There are a couple of sections in Blackened and And Justice for All that I can't seem to get through because of the kick pedal torture device that comes in the drum kit.

Looks like being able to play the song in real life doesn't mean you can play it in the game...on Medium.

I understand the guitar and singing but at the least the drummer should be able to hit something in rythm with the song, amirite?

Also I had the same thought about the double bass pedal, there are certainly songs it could help but I don't know if I would be coordinated enough to use it effectively. I'm sure someone has done it...

Saw an interview with Coheed & Cambria not too long ago and the lead singer said at a recent party he did "Welcome Home" on expert (just singing) and only got like 85%.

The new DLC was announced for next week. It's the same 3 songs that were available for "free" on the xbox magazine dvd a couple of months ago. Which is good news for me because I never got a chance to track down an issue. This week the songs are only $1 each.

HALP!

brought the PS3 and rock band over to mom and dad's to play. they have a 46" sony lcd. hooked it up using the same HDMI cable i use at home. start the game, timing is all off, switch to LCD tv settings, and it matched up okay. here's the problem: when the song starts out everything is moving smooth and normal, once the guitar comes in or voice or you start playing (drums in my case), it gets all jerky/choppy and retarded. i can kinda play along but it's extremely difficult, not to mention hard to see and painful to look at.

i'm googling but not coming up with any helpful results. it works fine on my tv (42" panasonic plasma).

i'm having people over tonight and need to get this resolved before 6pm !!!!

Holy crap, be glad you don't live in the UK and want to play Rock Band. The game itself is £49.99 while the instruments are sold separately and cost £129.99. This translates to it costing over $350 for the full set.

i guess i can add myself to this thread now.

bought it last night.

is there something that i should do. like calibration, or setup my system a certain way? ive got HDMI cable hooked up (already switched to LCD option on rockband options) and ive got surround sound.

Yeah once you have your character profile loaded you can calibrate it for lag in the options.
