Due to this being an NCAA event, there is not supposed to be any "home field advantage". NCSU isn't allowed to sell wolfpack merchandise, many of the advertisements were taken down from the outfield walls, and they can't play the music like they usually do when the players come up to bat. Also, to determine who is the "home" team they flip a coin. Apparently for this game we lost the coin toss.
