Not sure about late night coffee. There used to be a place on Tate St, not sure if it is still there or not.

this is true. and law school was the worst 3 years of my life (like...all that shit went down) so i associate greensboro with that.

i actually LOVED LOVED LOVED where i lived though. like 1.2 miles away from downtown on north elm in country club condos. i loved that area and the proximity to downtown. and i loved my condo complex. i wish i could have picked that up and moved it with me i miss my condo.

nope I'm good.

On a slightly different note: I have spotty reception with AT&T throughout the entire city. I'm not talking about on the outskirts or in BMF. I'm talking strictly within the city limits.

Grey's is OK, very much like it's neighbor Natty Greenes, but not as well known, and the beer probably isn't as good.

Grey's is the best lunch spot in Downtown imo. The portions are HUGE, the food is good, and the prices are cheap. It's also a great spot to grab dinner/beers after a baseball game. And they have several live bands throughout the week.

If you go tomorrow night Ray will be performing. He's the lead singer of Walrus and has a hell of a voice. And I am not just saying that because he is good friends with my GF.

Anyone who is from Greensboro or has lived in this area should know the band Walrus. If not, they aren't into the local music scene.

Greys good. food is good, but the scene is a little played out.

Anyone go see The Glass Managerie playing at triad stage yet? I hear it's pretty good. I have a friend working at the theatre

Go eat at Gnam Gnam Gelato! It's on Lawndale. You won't want to go back to plain ol' ice cream after that. It's mad crazy good.

Location's good, food's good, beer's beer, and I'll probably be back. But as a bar it doesn't really do much, not a lot of character.

That used to be my Cheers when I first moved back to Greensboro. Now that I live out near Burlington I don't get there as much. Great spot though, especially if you are a regular. Several of my close friends still hang out there a few nights a week.

Definitely an underrated lunch spot as well. I try to grab lunch there once a week. No wait, good food, cheap.
