it stems from the fact that the rockford was supposed to shut down permanently

and so the jackpot was going to shut down as well because the whole block is going to be bulldozed sooner rather than later

but then the offer for the rockford was more than was expected and so it was sold

and the jackpot stayed open

i paid 8 dollars for a pint and a crown on the rocks. the crown had maybe three small cubes of crushed ice in it, the rest was crown. I was disgustingly surprised.
