It's not too dreary in FL. Sunny and in the 50s, though I'm jonesin' for some pool time and I'm ready for the cold spell to pass.

I live in Winter Park, FL. I usually run in my neighborhood, right here:



Though I may run in Windermere, FL tonight because there are tons of lakes and the roads in the residential neighborhoods aren't paved ... they're sand. Great for your joints.

Hah, yeah Biggie (the youngest) won't eat cat food because eleusis feeds her grilled chicken damn near every night. It's actually rather cute how she sits next to him when he eats. She puts her paw on his arm, rubs her head on his shoulder...I should get a video

YES! When? All of my weekends in March are booked due to weddings, Miami trip and Costa Rica trip, but I'll be ready for another vacation anytime after 4/3.

OK ladies, i would love to take another trip to Vegas, however....we have home improvements that need doing this year, which will allow me (us, whatever) one real week long vacation somewhere, and after that the vacations must be weekend trips and must be sorta cheap/inexpensive.

that being said, i think we've already decided to spend a week down in FL in May.....

what about Atlantic City for a girl's weekend in July/August sometime? east coast means it's quicker/easier to get there, mmmmaybe not as expensive?

Nah, we've got dinner plans at the Bavarian Brathaus with some people tomorrow night so I can't get sloshed at 2pm

I'm guessing I'll end up watching it at home, just to save some cashola.

We're building a patio on the back of the house! It'll be ready for Buck's 30th Birthday Bash.

Speaking of parties, it's Saturday June 12th. I don't expect you to be here, but if you wanna be here, that would be totally awesome.

....I feel horrible if we have a big party and don't invite them. We're gonna cook a pig and we're gonna have at least 1 keg. I know your parents would leave by nightfall, but I get the feeling my mom would stick around all night and mooch off the free beer. And I don't want her there all night LOL. So we haven't decided if it's gonna be a family-friendly party or just our friends.

What do you think?

Haha. In that case, you should have two events. One would be a family-friendly dinner. In fact, Mom and Dad would probably want to get everyone together at a seafood restaurant to celebrate the big mass of birthdays that occur in May/June.

Lucy, you're needed at far too many family events in the next few months. Not to mention all your Raleigh friends who miss your company.
