TriSports is ok...more people have created their own team so its hard to meet folks, especially if you get teamed up with some crazy individuals to create a team

but I thought about signing up for TriSports again....I miss playing ball on Sundays

Trisports is a lot of fun. I did the volleyball a couple times recently. Just be friendly and halfway decent at the sport you choose, and its really easy to make friends.

Girls will seem flaky. There are a lot of possible reasons for that, but usually it's because they lose interest. I hear stories of people messaging back and forth a dozen or more times, IMing for weeks, multiple phone conversations, etc. Don't do it. Propose meeting up within 3-5 messages. Either you get rejected/ignored, or you go on a date and there is/isn't chemistry. Either way, you don't waste time and effort.

On profiles...99% of OKC profiles are truly terrible. Some are poorly written or scream insecurity. Most are just boring, though. They read like a book report. No one wants to read 30 paragraphs about your job, movies/bands/foods you like, your life story, or whatever. Your profile should be a short, entertaining glimpse into your life and personality.

Agreed. I started out going back and forth a lot, doing in the IM, thing and although I met a lot of people, there were also a lot of people I conversed with and never met, which looking back, was just a big waste of time. During my most recent stint on OKC, I'd propose we meet after a few messages were exchanged and that seemed to have a pretty high ROI.

i agreee - i have friends who will send me screen shots of profiles they find or will give me their login/password info so i can look at certain profiles that they want me to see and i usually notice 1 of 2 things. either they go on and on and on and are super specific about every detail OR it's same basic mumbo jumbo "i am a funny, honest girl who is looking for an equal partner."

pick a few things that you feel make you stand out or you feel are important aspects of your life and then pick 3 things you are looking for in a potential significant other.
