Damn I am stuck with fucking Shonn Greene on two of my teams and now I've lost Grant on another team. Put in claims on Jackson in every league, but I doubt I get him except in one. At least I have Arian Foster in two of those leagues and guys like Turner, McCoy, Forte, and McFadden to help going forward.

Pick 2 standard scoring

Shonn Greene vs NE
Matt Forte @ DAL
Barbarian vs CHI

ESPN projects Greene with 16 and Forte with 8, but I'm not so sure about that. If anything it should be the other way around. They throw to the back a lot in the Martz offense and he should get plenty of work Sunday. On the other hand, Greene looks to be in a 50/50 split with LT currently. The positive is that lolchez blows and all they can do to move the ball is run run run, though. I won last week despite him, but I don't want to trot Shonn out there to lay another egg. Lastly, I can see Barbarian punching one in from the goal line at least once vs the Bears D that gave up plenty of yards to a rookie back last week.

^ waivers dont come through until Thurs at 3am this week I think.

^^^ Definitely Barber. I think Forte has more upside than Greene based on the matchup so Id start him.

I'm starting Vick in my money league, but between those two, I would go with Romo IF and only IF he gets his two top O-lineman back this week.

Otherwise, I think Vick is going to torch the Lions. He's inconsistent, but he has a cannon arm and should get some deep bombs to Jackson in there as well as a nice bundle of rushing yards.

Oh, and Floyd for your other question. As I thought and read earlier (Naanee wouldnt have scored if it wasnt blown coverage and Floyd would have scored if he hadnt fallen down...twice) Floyd also had 12 targets last week. Clayton will be guarded by Asomugha and will have a rookie throwing him the ball. Start Floyd.

man, I wanna pick up Vick, but I don't really have anyone to drop.

My QB's: Palmer, Kolb,
Bench: Portis, S. Breaston, Jacoby Jones

I don't think I wanna sell off one of my 2 WR bench guys just for one week of Vick...but man, it's tempting.

Pick 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 RB/WR:

Jerome Harrison, Cle RB vs. KC
Steven Jackson, StL RB vs. @Oak
LeSean McCoy, Phi RB vs. @Det
Brandon Lloyd, Den WR vs. Sea
Terrell Owens, Cin WR vs. Bal
Mike Williams, Sea WR vs. @ Den
Malcom Floyd, SD WR vs. Jac

I'm thinking to bench Harrison & Floyd this week. T.O, Williams & Lloyd are top 2 receivers of each team, Floyd didn't do much last week and is #3 in depth for the Chargers, though could break out this week. Harrison looks like he's going to share a lot with Hillis. I dunno, maybe I should put both back in and give them 1 more week? I dunno, T.O. at Baltimore is gonna be tough, maybe I should sit him and play Floyd

I think too many people are jumping ship on Malcolm Floyd. The KC game was in very sloppy conditions and Rivers looked his way at the end of the game. AND the whole reason you picked up Brandon Lloyd is because of his play against Jac last week, with an inferior QB in Orton throwing the ball. Floyd against Jac is a good play IMO.

Also, I don't think Floyd is the #3 for the Chargers. We can all agree that Gates is the prime target, but Floyd had 12 targets in the game and if not for a blown coverage against Naanee he has around 50 yds on 4 catches vs. Malcom's 48yds on 3 catches. I don't think the #2 option is clear at this point.

Realistically, what are some of your expectations for Brandon Jackson, given he remains the starter all season. Personally, I never thought Ryan Grant was that talented, and his borderline elite status in fantasy was much more a product of opportunity that true skill level. Any back in that GB offense is going to put up solid numbers. I think Jackson is fully capable of putting up 1500 combined yards, maybe in a 1000/500 split, with half a dozen touchdowns. Solid RB2 numbers. While Kuhn will probably steal some scores from close range, getting what would be a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick for basically free if you have waiver priority for a full 15 games has the potential to rank among one of the best WW pickups in recent years.

12 targets and 3 receptions, yes Rivers looked to Floyd at the end and he dropped it.

anyhow, that still leaves me in a pickle as to play T.O., Williams, Floyd or bench 1 to play McCoy or Harrison????

I'd bench TO and Williams to play Harrison and Shady

TO hasn't proven he's not done and Baltimore is a poor matchup, and Mike Williams has some dude named Champ Bailey on him Sunday

Peyton Hillis fumbled twice last game and I like Harrison to do work against KC, and McCoy vs Detroit is a top 15 play this week

As a rule, I almost always play RBs over WRs if I can't decide...RBs are generally more consistent, while most WRs output is predicated on 1 or 2 big plays that may or may not happen

I kind of figured it was coming, but like I said it was a nasty game in KC and he was slipping all of the place. I don't think Rivers has lost confidence in him just yet.

Pick one:

Hakeem Nicks @ Indy
Jahvid Best vs. Philly
Dez Bryant vs. Chicago
Eddie Royal vs. Seattle
Brandon Lloyd vs. Seattle

Nicks and Best scored a lot of points last week...but it was all off TDs. Dez, Eddie, and Brandon all had more catches than Nicks. I'm still leaning towards Nicks b/c of that monster game and shaky Indy D. Good choice?

None of those guys has a clear edge IMO...you basically have a 1 in 5 shot of picking the right guy

Personally, I'd take Nicks just because he's the late NBC game and you can watch him

further confirming any doubts about Kolb starting.

Quote :
"Kevin Kolb, who did not pass his initial concussion test on Monday, also failed the test on Wednesday, according to ESPN.com.

Stewart Bradley failed his test as well, though head coach Andy Reid claims that both have made progress. Still, Michael Vick will get all the snaps with the Eagles' first-team offense at practice this week. While Reid has not yet officially ruled Kolb out for Week 2, it seems almost certain that Kolb will be unable to play and that Vick will be under center against the Lions. "

The NFL has a concussion rule that says you have to be symptom free from Concussions for 5 days before playing, meaning that no matter what happens from this point forward, Vick will be the starter this weekend. With this happening and the hapless Jag's up next, I'll be curious to see how this plays out.

My question is would you play Vick over Orton this week?

I can pick up Vick and he is going against the Jags and their horrible secondary
or
game manager Orton against the Seattle Seapigeons

Michael Vick is not that good of a QB. Even as a QB for Atlanta he only had maybe 4 games like that per year. I doubt it will happen again against Detriot.

^Wow, ok tough one. I guess it depends if interceptions hurt you or not. I like Orton, he's a bit more proven than Vick. But.... Vick may have more potential for points this week.

Keep in mind, his career in Atlanta, Vick was no better than 56% completion and barely had a 2:1 TD to INT ratio... about the only upside is when he rushes, he averaged 40-60 yards per game

^^ Vick is against Detroit this week, then they play the Jags next week.

I think he's worth a play against Orton. He won't have the same number of yards that Orton will, but he'll likely finish with somewhere in between 50-100 yds rushing (if he plays remotely close to what he did last week).

Keep in mind that this guy is out to prove a point. He can only be a rushing QB for another year or two, then he'll be creeping up on the mid-30's when you would naturally start slowing down a little.

Compare potential "Best Case" stat lines

Orton - 350 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 10 yds rushing
Vick - 225 yds, 1 TD, 2 Picks, 75 yds rushing, 1 TD

Based on your scoring settings (bonuses for passing yards, rushing yards, etc)...who scores the highest in this scenario in your league?

If your league is 50 yards per point passing and 10 yards rushing per point, go with Vick hands down. Anything else, weigh the options.

I have the option to roll with Orton, but I'm starting Vick because he has more weapons then he ever had in ATL with roughly the same looking speed.

Thoughts on a trade in PPR league:

I give Ronnie Brown and receive Ahmad Bradshaw

IMO I win in this one especially since its PPR but Bradshaw does have Jacobs as a goal line thief.

I don't like it. I would wait and see what happens with Brown. Remember, for the last few years, he's been leading RB's in fantasy points only to get hurt mid-way through the season. When healthy, he's easily an RB2, whereas the Giants are finding more and more that they are a passing team. On the flip side, there is no more of a running team than the Dolphins.

I'd wait on this if I were you or see if you can get more back in return.

Should I grab Vick and start him over Cutler (@Dallas) in Week 2?

Also it looks like the guy that took Brandon Jackson dropped CJ Spiller and he's now available to just grab. Should I dump Larry Johnson and pick Spiller up?

Duh, I guess I can't grab him until 18th.

Question about my RB spot this week...Assuming Beanie Wells is back this Sunday would you start him? I've got:
Chris Johnson (lock to start)
Felix Jones (started last week...got 7 or 8 points)
Beanie Wells
Tim Hightower

Also I have an open roster spot and want to pick up a WR (I have Driver, Miles Austin, Mike Wallace, Braylon Edwards...and can start 3). These guys are available:
Naanee, Brandon tate, Devery Henderson, Meachem, Cotchery, Manningham, Mark Clayton, Nate Washington, Brandon Lloyd.

^^i'd go hightower or jones over wells this week.

bryant over moss might be a good call this week since it sounds like revis will be covering moss. revis is more likely to get called for a long penalty than he is to give up a huge play, which doesn't do anything for moss-owners in fantasy.

Not really sure who all I should play this week:

I have 1 RB slot and 1 RB/WR slot, who the hell should I play. (I have Greg Jennings and Reggie Wayne starting at receiver)

I have:

Steven Jackson vs Oak
Brandon Jackson vs Buf
Jahvid Best vs Philly
Hines Ward @ Ten
Randy Moss vs NYJ

I'm thinking of starting Jackson and Jackson, but Ward makes for an intriguing play against a soft Tennessee pass defense, also he went over 100 yards last week despite Dixon being the QB.

I also have Favre as my starting qb, and am going to drop Stafford, should I be looking to pick up Vick or Orton this week, and would either o them be an option to start over Brett? I remember last year Brett had a similar first game of the year then just exploded, was last week a sign of rust as well as playing an elite defense, or do you think he'll struggle all year?

Vick vs Detroit
Favre vs Miami
Orton vs Seattle

And ^, I'd go with Orton. Not sure if I'd start him over Favre just yet, but it may be an option down the road if Favre doesn't have good numbers.
