Don't complain about the PS3, complain about your internet connection. I had to do the same thing Friday after being out of town for a week. Updated the PS3 and GTA and it only took about 10 minutes.



Question: What properties should I start buying first? I just completed the Merryweather Heist and the Hotel Assassination. After selling my Betta Pharm. stocks I have around 400k for Trevor and Franklin and about 1.2 mil for Michael.


What's everyone's favorite car so far? I seem to always hijack an Ocelot Jackal, they're everywhere but have good speed and handling. The Tesla is really fast but has shitty braking.

^^ should have saved the assassinations for the end when you had more money to invest, but most of the properties aren't a great investment. The 10 cent theater gives a decent return but it's like 10 or 20 mil and still takes like a full game year to get your money back.

yeah - cars with no gas in them won't explode. you can shoot a tank then drive it till it's empty and stops then shoot the gas trail...fire will roll up, but car won't blow

I did a couple michael missions and have gotten really bored. Mostly now I spawn at hospital, attack paramedic, steal car, find moving train and jump on, then shoot police cars/helicopters till I max out stars. As the trains make their way around town, there is a long ass tunnel that helps you almost lose the cops, from there if you are a good shot you can pretty much ride indefinitely at max wanted level.

I bought Pisswasser at 8 and sold at 14 with all 3 characters a few weeks ago when they were doing that organized buy/sell.

Then I noticed it was still rising and bought again at like 35 with just Michael. I'm up almost 200 million so far, will probably sell Monday since he will be able to buy everything.

^yeah, I didn't beat the story line until a couple days ago, so I didn't get to put alot of money into it until then. Still, if you invested in those, you've been making out like a bandit lately. I still need to do all of the assassination missions, but I don't want to pull my money out of these stocks and put them in the assassination stocks until these have stopped rising.

I just saw pisswasser down around $2 couple weeks ago when the game came out and bought in after it got to around $5-$8 range, dont remember. Just left all the money I had on each character in the stock and up to $300 mill on each now. I did the lester missions when I had little money and didnt get the return that I could have, so riding the pisswasser thing for money now

This page will send you an email alert when a stock gets above or below a particular value. Like, for example, I bought Pisswasser at $2.35, and it just recently hit $100, so it's probably a good idea for me to sell soon. Currently it's at $108.96, so I just set up an alert to tell me if it drops below $108. Unless it completely falls off in a matter of minutes, this will allow me to be sure that I still sell at a 50x profit even if it does start to go down. I think I'm gonna wait a couple of days and sell it anyway when/if it gets to around $130 or so. I already have more than enough money anyway.

There was just a thread about it on the gta forums. Somebody noticed that the stock had an all time high price of ~$151 and was (at the time) bottomed out around $2.25 and was most likely poised to do exactly what it has done.
