^^ Maybe cause I'm originally from NC (so there's a bit of connection there), and I enjoy a good "prank" as much as anybody? I've gotten a bunch of laffs out of the past 24 hours.

I got directed here by the link posted on CGD's FB page, and then paid my $5 so I could, as Dale Earnhardt used to say, "rattle some cages", mainly by saying I e-mailed the thread to ESPN (which I really didn't do). Other than that, I've just watched the show.

Honestly, I'm very impressed by the technical savvy of the group here. This is the sort of thing I'd expect MIT or Harvard folks to pull off. Brilliant really. Bummer that other folks hijacked the idea and it got shut down. As I'm fond of saying "go big or go home" and you guys for sure went big. Props.

^to do what? bring it down? drop the db's? without knowing a shitload about their db architecture, i don't see how you could use SQL injection to cast votes for us.

I guess it's possible their security was so bad they had snippets of queries visible in the source, but I didn't bother sifting through it to look for that.
