My truck has manual door locks and it looks right at home in any barrio, so I generally don't have any problems driving in the hood (you know, since black people and latino people are the same type of thugs )

By saying "the hood", I meant predominantly black neighborhood, in the vernacular its residents use themselves. Of course there are going to be different races living in any neighborhood, including the one Trayvon was visiting, but the headlines and the posts above above say Trayvon was in a "wrong" neighborhood, meaning the black residents must have been a minority. I don't assume that all white, hispanic, or asian people who live in or go to a predominantly black neighborhood are robbed and/or beaten, but SOME are, and when that happens, it is not perceived as a hate crime or racially-motivated crime. Most of the time, it is generally investigated as an assault or a robbery. Would you say I am wrong? Or do you just think that hate crimes perpetrated by blacks in predominantly black neighborhoods are underreported by the media?

Oh and the police do suggest that you lock your doors no matter what's your race or where you're at:
