I dislike him because I think his priorities are opposite of what they should be. For most great players, they are: 1. Country. 2. Club 3. Individual accolades.

He's the complete opposite, and his playing style is reflective of that. He makes his success based off of his individual awards rather than how he wins with his country. That irritates me. And his playing style is so demanding, that Portugal often plays weaker overall to placate his strengths.
