Trade question - I'm currently sitting at 5-1 in my 12-team, standard scoring league. 2RB, 2WR, Flex. My current lineup looks like this;

QB: Stafford
RB: McCoy, A. Foster, G. Bernard, A. Ellington, Moreno
WR: D. Thomas, B. Marshall, C. Patterson, J. Edelman, J. Gordon
TE: Bennett

My question is, should I try to trade away one of my RB's for an upgrade at QB? There is a guy willing to trade me Rogers and he needs a RB. I wouldn't have considered this earlier in the year, but with the way Stafford is trending, I'm really considering it. So, should I make the trade, and if so, for which RB? I think I could work something out for any of the first 4 listed (Bernard and Ellington have already had there bye)...

Bernard has already had his bye and will see a ton of passing work with AJ Green out for a while. I'd try to sell high on McCoy after last night and maybe bundle a WR upgrade into the mix - maybe getting rid of Patterson.

You must have traded your ass off to get that lineup in a 12 person league.

Yes, I have made a couple good trades and pick-ups in this league (more than paying for it in my other league)

So I have a couple more options;

1) Trade one of the first four RB's above for Rogers
2) Trade either Bernard, McCoy or Foster for Luck
3) A package deal that would send McCoy and Bennett for Cutler/Newton and Julius Thomas (possibly including some other lesser players)

The third option is intriguing to me mainly because J. Thomas has already had his bye, and I don't have a backup TE and this solves that problem for me, but I'm not as confident in Newton/Cutler as the other QBs. Thoughts?

Ouch...I just traded McCoy for Luck, and part of my safety net was having Moreno on my bench. Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me.

McKinnon is a solid RB pickup if he is still there in your league...if its like mine he is long gone.

My team has SUCKED all year...but the good news is all these injuries are helping my team in the long run I think.

Welker will be my demise though..cant trade him now and dont know his worth.

^ I think I would take that, I don't see Stacy doing much the rest of the year. He's probably only the 3rd best RB on his own team.

I actually thought this trade favored the other guy a bit more than me (and every online trade analyzer site I tried it in agreed), but half of my league thought it was stacked in my favor apparently. Yeah, that shouldn't have been vetoed. I guess that's the real problem with trade vetoes. ^^ is a much more lopsided trade than yours, St Louis has turned into a RB by committee and Tre Mason was added to the mix last week.

Picking up DEF scraps in my 16 team league w/ major point reductions for yards (-5 for 375+ yds & -10 pt bonus for 500+ & points scored (-5 for 30 pts & -10 pt bonus for 45+). All the sleeper DSTs recommended by experts (Brown, Bills, Texans, etc) have been generally taken.

I have Bengals D, but not starting them. Picked up the Vikings (@ BUF), but Redskins & Titans are both on waivers (and playing each other w/ Redskins at home). Who would you roll with?

I was about to pull the trigger on MIN, b/c BUF has given up an insane amount of points to DSTs so far. but I didn't, b/c MIN sucks and they aren't getting many points. kind of the antithesis to the unstoppable force/immovable object scenario

I went with CHI because they play MIA this week, and generally have a softer schedule from here on out.

but in your situation, i'd go WAS I guess? not worth burning a waiver claim I don't think, i'd rather wait for them to become FA. if someone else grabs them, i'd go MIN before I went with TEN.
